Friendly, First Class, Affordable

Honeybrook is a semi-private golf club nestled among the Amish farms of Chester County, Pennsylvania. Open to the public every day, Honeybrook offers 18 challenging yet playable

holes that are fun for all skill levels. It's a mixture of wide-open links, tree-lined fairways and subtle elevation changes that combine natural beauty and great golf.

Protected wetlands weave throughout to form breathtaking vistas and memorable target greens. Once you cross the Brandywine Creek, you'll escape from the outside world and

hear nothing but the clip-clop of horse-drawn buggies and the chirping of the birds.

The atmosphere is friendly and laid back - both on the course and in The Honeybrook Pub. Stop by anytime to relax and enjoy a cool drink or a hot meal. You'll see why Honeybrook

breeds the loyal following of golfers who call it their home.

“ I wanted to thank you for the outstanding job that you did this year for our event. From the night that I dropped off the score cards, you greeted me warmly

and asked me how the event was going and suggested a few things to me for the putting contest. You really put my mind at ease. The day of the event you were there and assisting even as far as getting tables and setting them up for the registration area. You were checking throughout the day to see if I needed anything, asking how everything was going. You started the morning off announcing the start of the event and explaining the putting contest, you did a marvelous job, I couldn’t have asked for more. You even complimented me on my signage on the road coming in and my decorating of the eating area (most of the people at the event, don’t notice that). It was a wonderful day and it would not have been possible without the professionalism and warmth you showed in making my event so perfect! I have had tons of positive feedback on this year’s tournament. Thank you for the donation of the golf packages you gave us as well, that was a wonderful addition to our giveaway’s.”

Fundraising/Competitions Fundraising • Sponsorships: It is essential for any golf outing to generate sponsorship dollars. Sponsorship monies allow the

outing to collect money aside from entry fees. A basic sponsorship example could be: Gold Sponsor: $1,000, Silver Sponsor $500, Bronze Sponsor $300. Each sponsor is allowed entry for one foursome into the event.

• Hole Sponsorships: Hole Sponsor signs are a great way to generate money towards the event. Local businesses usually are willing to purchase a hole sponsor sign. Honeybrook can get the signs made for each hole sponsor. A fee will be required by the business to have their hole sponsored, which that money goes directly towards the outing.

Fundraising Competitions • Skee Ball: The skee ball putting contest is a great way to generate extra dollars. The Golf Pro paints a skee ball

target around a hole on the putting green. When groups turn to hole 1, and 10 they are stopped asked by a volunteer if they would like to participate. Entry into the contest could be as low as $5 per person. With entry fee paid, each contestant gets 3 putts. The highest point winner will win half of the pot at the end of the day during announcements (the winner typically will give his or her share back to the charity). The other half goes directly to the cause.

• Beat the Pro: If you as the Pro to be available for a beat the Pro contest, he would gladly participate! The Pro will be assigned to a par 3 hole. Much like the putting skee ball contest, there is a small entry fee. Each person that gets the ball closer to the hole then the pro, will be thrown into a hat. At the end of the day during announcements one winner will be pulled from the hat and half of the pot is given to the winner (they usually give the money back to the cause!). The other half goes to the outing.

• Pro For Hire: The Golf Pro will be stationed at a certain tee box. The team may elect the Pro to hit their tee shot for them for an entry fee. Usually between $5 and $10. The money goes towards the charity, and the team benefits from being able to use the Pro’s Tee Shot.

Fundraising/Competitions (continued)

• Circle Shot: A circle is painted around a hole on a par 3. There is a small entry fee usually of $5 to participate. Everyone that gets the ball inside the

circle is entered into a drawing for half the pot at the end of the day. The other half goes towards the outing. This is a very popular competition among golf outings.

• Selling Mulligan's: This is generally the most popular way to generate extra money for a golf outing. Mulligan's are “do overs”. You can sell

mulligan's in different ways for example: 1 mulligan for $5, or 4 for $15. However, it is good to limit the amount you sell to no more then 5-7 mulligan's per team, to protect the pace of play of the outing.

• Raffle Tickets: Raffle tickets are a guaranteed way to make extra money. Selling raffle tickets for a cash prize at the end of the day generates a lot of

extra money. The person with the pulled ticket wins half the pot which they usually give back. The rest goes to the outing. Non Fundraising on Course Competitions for prizes or shop credit

• Closest to the pin (all, men or women) • Long Drive (all, men or women) • Straightest Drive (all, men or women) • Closest to the pin on 2nd shot • Big Break Competitions: Big Break is a popular show on the Golf Channel where contestants take part in skill challenges. Honeybrook Golf Club has

made the same challenges themselves. These challenges include: Break the glass pane, Retractable Wall shot, Circle Chip Shot, and more!
