Share A Story• Share a story is for parents and children

to read together.• Children in Junior Infants will be given a

book each week of Share A Story to read at home with their child each day/ night.

• The book will be changed each Monday and returned on Fridays.

• Share A Story will run for 4 weeks.

Library Visit• At the end of the ‘Share A Story’ the children

will have the opportunity to visit Athy Library, where they can join for free, Parents can also join.

• The Library have a similar programme called ‘Play2Read’ by linking with the library we can avail of their friendly character ‘Rua’, a squirrel who loves to read.

• The Library will also organise activities for the children to attend.
