song that taught students about quotation marks and hooked their interest. After the song she read the book Stellaluna and disgussed with the students the use of quotation marks in the story. For practice she gave each student a worksheet. They were to cut out pictures of people, glue it to the worksheet and add dialogue using quotation marks. These turned out really good and it was evident in the work who understood quotation marks and who did not!
