THE STORY OF TEA
It was autumn time. The air was starting to chill and the leaves were turning
brown. A Chinese monk was taking a break from reading his holy books and
prayers. He put a pot of water on fire to warm the room. Then he walked through
the garden to watch the monkeys settle in for the cold season ahead.
The monk went inside to where his water was boiling. He put his handful of
flowers and leaves in a small bowl, and then put hot water over them. The
fragrance released from the flower buds filed the air. The leaves changed the
clear water to deep amber in color. The monk was so fascinated by the
steaming liquid that he sipped slowly his first cup of tea.

What do you know about our GCC countries?
The Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf known as the Gulf
Cooperation Council (GCC) is a regional intergovernmental political and economic
union consisting of all Arab states of the Persian Gulf. Its member states
are Kingdom of Bahrain, Sultanate of Oman, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA),
United Arab Emirates, The State of Kuwait and The State of Qatar.
All current member states are monarchies, including three constitutional
