The building at 6211Transit Road is located on a non-standard lot, located on the east side of the street between Stanley Road and Court Road. Transit is a prominent north-south thoroughfare that runs the length of the Town of Clarence. The property is located in a high profile, mixed commercial area of the Swormville section of the Town of Clarence. This unique, 2-story hipped roof six bay by two bay main building with extended side slopes has mixed styling structure and wood material exterior. The north side porch under the roof extension is enclosed while the south porch is open. A shed dormer extends over the south porch. A large brick chimney extends through the roof at the north end of the main block. A large hipped roof garage/outbuilding is to the south and was likely the garage for the original house. The building has a symmetric façade with regular paired windows, window shuttering and lower story awnings.

The building at 6211 Transit Road is significant as a large, unique mid twentieth century residential building converted to commercial use.

The church at 6925 Transit Road sits on a large triangular lot, located on the east side of the street between Stanley Road and Dodge Road. Transit is a prominent north-south thoroughfare that runs the length of the Town of Clarence. The property is located in a high profile, mixed commercial area of the Swormville section of the Town of Clarence. This traditionally planned, front gabled, brick chapel is three bays wide by five bays deep and has a central front steeple housing the lower arched entrance. Elongated arched windows are set symmetrically in either side bay of the façade and are spaced regularly down either side elevation.

The parish at 6925 Transit Road is significant as a mid nineteenth century brick church. St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church Society of Swormville is the oldest Catholic Church in the Town of Clarence. In 1849, the congregation built a frame church, rectory and school. The current site was purchased just before the Civil War, and the church was completed in 1865. A stone & brick rectory was built in 1873 and was used as a rectory, then convent. Another rectory was built in 1902. The present school was built in 1931.

The large (five bay wide) 2-story, hipped roof, brick, Foursquare has simple mixed period styling. There is a first floor addition with primary entrance with awning in the south bay of the shed roof addition, enclosed front porch with brick base and spaced windowed upper. Second story windows also have awnings. Some of the windows are replacements. A large brick hipped roof garage is to the south.

The house at 6989 Transit Road is located on a large lot, located on the east side of the street between Stanley Road and Dodge Road. Transit is a prominent north-south thoroughfare that runs the length of the Town of Clarence. The property is located in a high profile, mixed commercial area of the Swormville section of the Town of Clarence. This large 2-story hipped roof brick Foursquare is four bays wide by four bays deep and is topped by a square hipped-roof cupola. To the north is a 2-story hipped-roof one bay by two bay addition. To the rear (southeast) is a larger two bay by two bay 2-story addition, also with a hipped roof. To the rear of this is a one story addition. There is an open, wrapping veranda porch on the front (west) and north elevations with the entrance under the porch. The windows on the first and second floors have been replaced; the original attic windows are intact. Metal awnings have been added on the second floor windows. A large barn, now converted to commercial use is to the northeast, and may have originally belonged to the house.

The house at 6989 Transit Road is significant as a large brick Four-square. It is also significant for its association with the Adam Schworm family, for whom the hamlet of Swormville is named. Adam Schworm was a successful peddler and settled in the community that now bears his name. He opened a store and hotel business on the site now occupied by the Swormville fire hall, along with a successful lumber business. Mr. Schworm purchased considerable farmland in the area.

The barns at 6995 Transit Road are located on a large, irregularly shaped 126.79 acre parcel on the east side of the street between Lapp Road and Country Road. Transit is a prominent north-south thoroughfare that runs the length of the Town of Clarence. The property is located in a high profile, mixed commercial area of the Swormville section of the Town of Clarence. The most prominent barns are two large gambrel roof barns connected in an L shape. To the rear are four smaller barns, at least one of which appears to be a gabled mid-nineteenth century English style barn.

The barns at 6995 Transit Road are significant as mid nineteenth to early twentieth century barns now used as commercial buildings.

The building at 7871 Transit Road is located on a deep, narrow 9.74 acre parcel on the east side of the street between Wolcott Road and Millersport Road. Transit is a prominent north-south thoroughfare that runs the length of the Town of Clarence. The property is located in a high profile, mixed commercial area of the Swormville section of the Town of Clarence. This 2-story, cross gabled, vernacular, frame, folk structure with popular period Italianate detail and wood clapboard siding has two cross blocks, each two bays by two bays, and is set on a cut stone foundation. A two story, likely historic, addition is to the rear, as is a later one story addition. A flat-roofed two-car garage is to the east, as is a period barn and large, modern, pole barn outbuildings. The fenestration is regular, with segmental arched enframements and modest additional detail.

The building at 7871 Transit Road is significant as a late nineteenth century, Italianate-influenced vernacular farm house.

The property is located in a high profile, mixed commercial area of the Swormsville section of the Town of Clarence. The 2-story, cross gabled, vernacular, frame, folk structure has wood clapboard siding and a main L block with each leg two bays wide by two bays deep. A two-story historic addition is to the rear (east). A modern garage and several mixed period outbuildings are to the northeast. The primary entrance is in the small open porch in the L. A secondary entrance with an entry porch is on the north side. The fenestration is largely regular, with simple framing.

The building at 7923 Transit Road is significant as a mid nineteenth century farmstead with original farmhouse and mixed period outbuildings.
