Dear Parents and Caregivers
Welcome back to Term 3. It is great to see everyone back and looking refreshed. We are half way through the year already.
Welcome to all new students that will be joining us this term, I’m sure you will find Hillsborough Primary School a very welcoming and positive learning environment.
It is our Parent Teacher interviews tomorrow. The school will close at 12pm and interviews will start at 1pm. This is a great opportunity for you to meet with the teacher to discuss and celebrate your child's learning and progress so far this year, it also gives you the opportunity to discuss any concerns you may have.

The Secondhand Uniform Shop will be

every second Friday
8.30am – 9.00am
from Friday 4 August outside Miss Pihema’s office.
Sales are cash only
On 29th June, Hillsborough took our biggest team yet to the Gymnastics Festival at
TriStar Gymnasium. 50 gymnasts, who trialled, trained and gave up many lunchtimes,
competed against schools from across Auckland. Hillsborough kids did exceptionally
well. Their behaviour and sportsmanship was tremendous and they are to be very
proud of their achievements.
Overall Results:
Year 3 and 4 Girls: 12 Gold and 6 Red Year 5 and 6 Girls: 7 Gold and 11 Red Year 3 and 4 Boys: 4 Gold and 5 Red Year 5 and 6 Boys: 3 Red and 2 Blue

A huge thankyou to Patricia Carlyle and Kara Hodgson who did a fantastic job training the team and to the parents who gave up time to transport our gymnasts.

Room 2 became creative in the last week of Term 2 and made Paper Mache Knomes. This was enjoyed by all students with creating ballarinas, pirates, elves and spot the minion!
