Care for School Aged Children During School District Closures:

With news of the local San Antonio area school districts extending their closure, we continue to offer full day care for school aged children. If your child will be attending please let us know. Space is limited. See our weekly rates in the section below.

~~●~~●~~●~~●~~

Rates and Charges During the COVID-19 Crisis

We thank all our families for the continued support during the COVID-19 Crisis. As we have been deemed an essential business and remain open, and in an effort for us to be able to continue to pay staff and cover operating cost during this time, we will continue to charge weekly tuition with the following changes:

Rooms 1-9 . If your child attends, regular weekly tuition is applied to your

ledger . If you decide to keep your child at home regardless of Part-

time or Full-time status, we are applying Absentee Credit to your ledger.

Elementary School Aged Children - ONLY Room 10 . If your elementary school age child attends, the weekly rate

we will charge is $180. . If you decide to keep your child at home, we are applying

Absentee Credit to your ledger.

Questers, Home Edition! Our goal is to keep our kiddos engaged when they are here AND when they are at home with you during the COVID-19 Crisis.

We are doing two live stream videos daily: Circle Time 9:00 am and Story Time at 12:30 pm. We hope you are able to tune in or to watch the post.

We also rolled out a pick up and take home project every Friday evening in April and May. We are calling it "Questers, Home Edition". The concept of this project is for your child/ren (Questers) to incorporate our curricula at home and earn badges along the way! We will announce our weekly Expedition by email Friday evenings.

If the "Expedition" sounds interesting to you, simply come by the center to pick up an "Expedition Packet". Expedition Packets will be in a bin by our front door on Friday evenings.

We know parents have had many stresses the past few weeks. We want to share and provide any ideas and resources we have available to help keep you kids active!

Drop Off and Pick Up Procedures:

As we are complying with measures set by Child Care Licensing, HHS requirements and local and state orders to reduce exposure and minimize illness, all drop-offs and pick-ups each day are at the front door. Thank you for being patient while a staff member gets your child(ren) from their respective class(es) and brings them to you! We appreciate you mentioning the specific items you would like gathered from the classroom as well.

Also, we continue to check every person’s temperature before they are permitted to stay in the building. Children will have their temperature checked before they are brought to their classrooms. Staff also has their temperature taken prior to clocking in for their shift.

Everyone washes or sanitizes hands upon entry to the building and throughout the day.

Our Continuing Disinfecting and Sanitizing Effort

We have completed a thorough deep cleaning of all classrooms and contents. Every single toy, bin, shelf, chair, table, light switch, door handle, wall, other hard surface, and soft surface has been disinfected this week. It was a daunting process, but we completed it!

We have implemented a new cleaning and disinfecting protocol by which our teachers maintain a constant cleaning and disinfecting process to keep the spread of germs to a minimum. Also, each area in the classrooms is assigned a day of the week to be deep cleaned.
