You will be introduced to the principles of AssetManagement compliant with ISO 55000. The AssetManagement Game allows you to put into practice anasset management strategy of your design, enablingyou to assess the long term performance of an assetportfolio.

To become acquainted with ISO 55000 & ISO31000 and understanding their similarities anddifferences.
Understand Asset Management from a riskperspective and Risk management from an assetperspective.
To become familiar with Oxand RKB method (RiskKnowledge Builder: functional analysis, FMECA,Fault Tree Analysis).
Content:
The training begins with an introduction to twomanagement systems that are strongly related toeach other: Asset Management and RiskManagement. After a short introduction to ISO55000 & ISO 31000, you will play Oxand’s RiskManagement Game. You will be introduced to riskanalysis, prioritisation and mitigation.

Professionals who are frequently involved with riskwithin asset portfolios, assets and/or projects andcontribute to risk management during design,construction, maintenance and decommissioning ofcomplex assets.

Learn how to distinguish between ‘highly critical’and ‘less critical’ assets from a life cycleperspective.
Content:
The Asset Life Cycle and Ageing Managementtraining course is an introduction to the physicalbackbone of asset management: the assets.Within the course you will become acquainted withasset portfolios and their classification. You will befamiliarised with the concept and added value offunctional analysis, choosing the critical assets of aportfolio and the main drivers of asset portfoliomanagement. You will also be introduced to ageingmodelling, and how to utilise the model to makeinformed decisions with regard to prioritisation andplanning of construction, maintenance anddecommissioning of assets. Our Life Cycle Cost gameprovides you with an understanding of costs,benefits, risk management, and what in the long runprovides you with a healthy asset life cycle.

Identify the critical success factors for theimplementation of this strategy.
Master the methodology of the continuous assetmanagement optimisation cycle.
Content:
You will be introduced to strategic assetmanagement fundamentals, learning the principlesand roles required in asset management, decisionmaking, maintenance process design, optimisationand performance measurement. The use ofalgorithms and data modelling are also consideredusing Oxand’s Simeo™ platform. The AssetManagement Synergy Game is part of the training,and makes you aware of the importance of theformulation and measurement of KPIs and how todirect your investments, maintenance and renewalprojects so that all objectives are met.Continuous improvement, one of the key principlesof ISO 55000, is at the core of this training course.

genuine experiences of our colleagues in projects in different asset
life cycles phases, to:
• Create awareness of the complexity of multi-disciplinary

PRACTICAL INFORMATION
▪ Games are designed for an interesting learning experience, with aduration of 2 to 4 hours. The average number of participants toparticipate per game is between 5 to 25.
▪ Business games are mobile and can be organised at any location.
▪ Experienced Oxand Business Consultants facilitate the games. Theyprovide participants with a proper briefing and debriefing, as well as withfeedbacks on the chosen game strategies.

Asset Management GameObjective of the game: Participants become aware of the effectsof the choices made for acquisition, investment and maintenancein a context of PAS 55 / ISO 55000 asset management decisionmaking. They experience the long term effects of their decisions,and learn how to apply strategic asset management planningskills.
Synergy GameObjective of the game: Participantsare in charge of one departments ina large asset managing company. Tomanage the production, they mustdecide on the investments inmaintenance and renewals of theproperties. Properties in poorcondition suffer in terms of loss ofproduction and increased riskposition. Where is the money bestinvested to deliver the corporatestrategy?
Risk Management GameObjective of the game: To raise awareness about the importance of anadequate risk management, in the context of design, preparation,construction and maintenance of complex projects, and to give guidance toparticipants on how to organise risk management within your project.
Systems Engineering GameObjective of the game: A dynamic andinteractive way to get acquainted with theSystems Engineering approach for themanagement of major projects. Constructorsget introduced to the importance of a properrequirement analysis and management beforestarting the job. Their clients get to know aboutthe importance of the preparations of a properprogram of requirements, & the consequencesfor constructors of unclarities.Both get introduced to the challenges related tocommunication between developers/constructors and their clients.
BIM GameObjective of the game: The purpose of the game is to establishthe definitions of BIM and to provoke relevant discussions onhow to better use information within complex engineeringprojects.
