I serve as the Director of Retention for the KU School of Business. In addition to my full-time position, I served for the past 4 years as an advisor for the campus organization called Dance Marathon (KUDM). KUDM is a na- tional organization which raises money for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospi- tals. KUDM specifically raises money for KU Pediatrics in Kansas City, KS. KUDM has raised over $300,000 since it was established in 2008 and has became the largest phil- anthropic organization on campus (with 100+ committee members, 15+ steering and executive committee members, 1 full-time advisors, and 3 graduate advi- sors). Rhiannon Racy and Erin McHale are serving as graduate advisors. We are currently looking for one graduate advisor to work with KUDM. As a graduate advisor you would be responsible for 3-5 steering committee members who plans vari- ous components of KUDM. The time commitment is minimal and extremely reward- ing.
