IDEA
Our idea is creating a new kind of detergent whose main ingredient comes from honey locust fruits. This
idea comes from traditional experiences of our ancestor. In the past, when Vietnam is still a poor
country, products like shampoo, detergent and soap are made from nature. At that time, honey locust is
favored most because they can be used both like shampoo and like dete rgent. Nowadays, although
many detergent has been available in the market, theres no kind of detergent that is as effective as
detergent made from honey locust in keeping the colors for the clothes.
As the society develops, people are caring more about their health as well as the environment. People
now have a trend of using product that comes from nature or environmental friendly. This trend will
become even stronger in 2050. This new product will not only solve the problem of washing but it will
also meet peoples requirement.
We also suggest moving your production line to developing countries like Vietnam, China or India to
take advantages of the labor cost, the climate because honey locust trees like tropical climate, natural
resources, the development as well as the government policy. On the other hand, Henkel can help in
creating more jobs for people in these countries.
In addition, our suggestion is building a website for Henkels product. On this website, we will teach
people how to make small things from box or plastic package like bottle, bag or box that contains
detergent, shampoo, etc. These kinds of activities help reduce the amount of garbage as well as involve
people in useful activities and establish a relationship between the company and customers.

Market trends in 2050
In a recent report by PwC, Asia becomes the primary force that accelerates the growth of the global
economics. After the global financial crisis, the global economic power is shifted to the emerging
economies (the E7 countries), which are estimated to overtake the G7 economies by 2020. In this shift,
the United States will lose its leading position in terms of GDP measured in purchasing power parity
(PPP) to China. Even if the GDP measured at market exchange rates (MERs) are taken as the comparison
metrics, this overtaking process would be happening by 2050, not too far later. Also, the US would be
followed closely by India, which would become the third largest economy. The similarity between China
and India lies in their large population. This is a significant factor that helps cause the shift of global
economics power from the west to the east. Recall the Industrial Revolution prior period, China and
India were the dominating the world production and commerce. This dominance are returning back. Not
only countries in E7, large-population country such as Vietnam is also showing its rapid development
and estimated to emerge to the top 20 biggest economies and accounts for approximately 70% of the
UK's GDP by 2050. Rapid growth in consumer markets in major emerging economies motivates high
investment from the west. The fast growing of middle class in those countries would be an important
factor that attracts and shifts the long-term investment from traditional markets such as North America
and Western Europe to fast growing markets in Asia.
In 2050, clear-energy and lower-carbon technologies are overrated. At that time, customers have to
consider whether products are good for health and also for their environment. They will choose green -
products which are produced by clear- energy and ignore those which harm to natural conditions.
Therefore, the investors are looking for the effectively alternative energies for the production processes,
the emerging economies are looming as potentially new markets with largely diverse natural resources
and cheaper energy prices. Instead, The advanced G7 economies are gradually overtaken and more
depended on E7 emerging economies.
We can easily recognize that the economic growing stream is leaning to E7 countries, so if we intensif y
in investment for future-E7, we absolutely obtain a big market-share in those countries. By untilizing the
cheap and popular ingredients and even the labour in Brazil, China, or India, ect. We can save amount of
money for expanding markets, delivery to G7 countries around.

PERFORMANCE
Our idea comes from traditional experience that honey locust can help washing the clothes
without fading theirs colors. In the past, we fried or dried honey locust fruits up and then boiled
for water. We then use the water to wash hair or clothes. Honey locust detergent has a magical
effect in keeping the color for clothes, especially those made from wool and silk.
Honey locust trees can easily grow in countries with tropical climate like Viet Nam. These trees
can survive under any kinds of weather and have a medium high so growing and collecting
fruits does not require much effort and money. Besides, processes like collecting fruits, drying
or frying and boiling are simple and even cost lesser time with the help of machine. On the
other hand, we have mentioned about moving your main production line to developing
countries in the IDEA sections. In these countries, you can reduce the cost of production
because of the comparative low labor price and the tax incentive. As a result, the products will
have an affordable price.
SAFETY AND HEALTH
During the detergent production time, employees have to contact with many kinds of chemical
substance that are harmful to their health. Making detergent from honey locust requires lesser
use of chemical substances, which is good not only to employees health but also to customers
health.
Because of the natural origin that this detergent is also friendly to peoples skin. Even if some
detergent left in the clothes after washing, they cause no harm to peoples health. Wastewater
after washing is also friendly to the environment.
Moreover, during its time in the retailers store, the detergent packages sometimes leak. This is
dangerous if the detergent contains unsafe chemical substances. However, with this product,
the danger can be eliminated.

All these things match peoples requirement very well because people care about their health
even more in 2050
SOCIAL PROCESS
Honey locust trees, like other trees can generate oxygen and reduce the carbon dioxide. If
grown near the factory, these trees can make the air fresher by absorbing exhaust gas and
constraining dust. Besides, growing these trees on bald hills can help preventing the erosion.
Honey locust wood also has good quality and is rather popular in wood industry. Waste
material during processing honey locust fruit can become bio-fertilizer.
In 2050, not only the environment is heavily damaged but the unemployment rate will also
increase. Because the technology develops, companies will use less people. In developing
countries (Viet Nam, China, India ), high population will lead to high employment rate. By
setting up the business in these countries, Henkel will generate more jobs that results in lower
unemployment rate. Moreover, people with low or medium income can benefit a lot because
detergent is an essential product and we give them good quality product with affordable price.

Reduce footprint
By using Honey locust as a main ingredient to make detergent, we anticipate new product that
will be more environmentally friendly and useful. In addition, we can use some recycled metals
and plastics for packaging
Rocketing population is virtually serious problem in 2050. People are tending to expand their
habitats to the forests and it causes the ecological imbalance. The green is gradually replaced
by the colors of buildings and industrial zones. As a result, our natural environment is destroyed
catastrophically. All we have to do is looking for a new clean input- ingredient for our company
to minimize the adverse affectations to environment. Honey locust is looming as a new
alternative resource in this manner.
Material and Waste: We utilize honey locust, which is very popular in tropical countries, to
product. Honey locust seeks can be used as partly input for detergent, and its peels are useful
nourishments for land. To sustain the input, we encourage and make contracts with local
farmers for using their land to farm and supply honey locust for us. In fact, this is the way to
obtain the input easily.

WATER AND WASTE WATER
Farming honey locusts usage is similar to afforestation; it helps to protect underground water.
The wastewater from the production process and ablution is simply friendly to the
environment, decomposable and harmless to not only underground water but also people s
living
