Bayley-4: Eligibility
Because our criteria requires a standard score, use the scale score for each domain (cognitive, language, motor, social-emotional and adaptive behavior) to establish eligibility. If evaluators see discrepancies between subdomains or have additional concerns about a subdomain area, additional testing may be warranted to determine eligibility related to a Bayley-4 subdomain of concern.
Example: If the scale score for the Language domain does not establish eligibility, but the Expressive Communication subdomain score is a concern, an additional tool could be used to assess expressive language.
Please send additional questions to MDE through the ECSE mailbox: [email protected] or reach out directly to Pearson.
