Hello Puffin and Swans, Letter 14 – 3 rd July We hope you have all had a happy week. Miss Tierney says, “This week I have made you a quiz. You need to guess the animal from looking at the picture. Write down the first letter of the animal name. You will see the hidden message. There are 2 different words to work out. Good luck!”. Word 1 Word 2 Mrs Dyer says, “This week I enjoyed making a birthday cake and chocolate crispy cakes for Miss Tierney. I have been in school and we have been learning about different sea creatures. We watched an amazing video of an octopus changing colours. I hope you all had a lovely week”. Mrs Chapple says, “Hello everyone. I hope you are all keeping well and you have had a good week whether you have been at home or at school. I have been busy baking for my son who came home to play golf. I have also been shopping with my other son for the first time since the shops reopened and he persuaded me to buy him some new clothes! I am waiting for my lilies to flower now the buds have started to come out this week. The tallest plant is 9 feet tall! Remember to do a bit of reading every day”.

Mrs Williams says, “Hello everyone. I hope you’re all well. Last week at school I enjoyed helping my group of children make paper plate whales and turtles. I am still helping my niece with her literacy. Stay safe”.

Mrs Kearsley says, “Hi everyone. I have just got back from a 1 hour 15 minute walk along

the railway line, which most of you probably go. I saw some lovely wild sweet peas. I have

been doing a little bit of gardening. I have a lovely climber. The second picture is of the

beautiful flower. Does anyone know what it is called? I hope you have a lovely weekend”.

I have really enjoyed looking at what you have been doing during our ‘Animals’ topic.

Noah has turned some maths challenges into an animal game. He called it 'Feeding Time at Cotswold Wildlife Park'. In this photo he has shared 12 raspberries from the garden between 3 different animals that they have at the park! What a great idea Noah. Noah chose the Polar Bear to find out more about and he drew his picture in chalk on the patio. Super work Noah.

Alfie is working on this fabulous poster about nocturnal animals. What great writing Alfie,

well done.

What else have you been doing?

Alice has been very busy at home. She baked these delicious looking brownies with her

brother Owen. She has been doing some paint and also practising sharing. Well done Alice!

Harrison has really enjoyed finding out about nocturnal animals. He has been playing lots of

the online maths games and he has been practising his writing. Super work Harrison.

Robyn has been very busy in her garden. She is helping to look after all the vegetables on

the garden and she has been making some beautiful flower arrangements for her mum.

Robyn is very lucky as she has some tadpoles to look after! She has made them their own

habitat so they won’t get eaten by the big fish in the pond. They are starting to turn into

frogs!
