Before beginning the Cloud Computing Course at CIT I was unemployed. I had a background of working in IT but had been out of the industry for some time. I felt a desire to get back into IT, but as things change so quickly it was difficult and I was not having success with my job applications.

I completed the programme and did very well, mainly thanks to the high quality delivery and availability of lecturers and resources in CIT.

I was hired by EMC in Cork as an Applications Support Engineer working on support of infrastructure software. I completed two years with EMC and gained valuable experience.

Moved new role with an emerging company called ScienceLogic as Technical Support Engineer for EMEA with a small team breaking the EMEA market.

I would highly recommend the programme to anyone aspiring to upskill or begin a career in IT.
