GOAL OF OCMS MAGNET
The program provides a unique learning experience utilizing project and problem based learning to teach students about the field of health care. Students will be exposed to rigorous math and science courses. The program is designed to provide a sound foundation of the human body, its structure functions and systems. Students will be introduced to health care knowledge via classwork and partnerships with health care providers and biomedical technology professionals. The program will prepare students for a high school health science magnet program, enrollment in a post-secondary institution and careers in health care or biomedical technology.
