Traditional sizing machines are huge and their operations are complicated. Most of them are equipped
with boilers so starting-up is always troublesome and costly. It generates tremendous amount of
wastages and unit cost is high in processing small orders on sizing machines. Hence, sizing of short run
has been a big challenge in weaving.
With sampling and short yardage in mind, CCI has developed “Bobbin to Bobbin” and “Beam to
Beam” sizing solutions. Both methods require minimum space and are user-friendly in operation. These
new solutions are low in starting-up costs with minimum wastes, which solve the headache of short run
sizing.
