population and business sector in the countries of European
Union is implemented in Azerbaijan too
National Certificate Data Center and Public Key
Infrastructure are created for providing the government
organizations, legal entities and individuals by e-signature.
Up to now about 18000 e-signatures have been given
Online payment regime for state tariffs and fees carried out via
electronic service section is provided

“One-stop-shop” Business Registration System
Doing Business 2015 report :
Azerbaijan ranks 80th among 189 countries, improving its
position by 8 points .
In starting a business and registering property Azerbaijan
ranks 12th and 10th, respectively. Business start-up has
become simpler due to the fact that the number of required
procedures has been reduced to six, and no minimum

The Regional Innovative Technologies Academy was
established in 2003.
R.I.T.A. is NCP ICT&FET hosting organization in
Azerbaijan.
R.I.T.A. took part in implementation of more than 10
international UNESCO/UNDP projects and 12 ICT
projects under EC Framework Programmes.
The Academy renders consulting services and supports
participation of ICT organizations and institutions in EC
projects.
