Hello Guthrie County!
Fair plans are underway! You’ll find the changes for Static, Clothing and Communications changes on page 3.
At this time, we do not have a decision from the Guthrie County Fair board as to the status of the fair. As promised, regardless of the decision of the fair board we are committed to ensure that each 4-H’er has an opportunity to show-case their exhibits. As soon as we know of any decisions, we will let you all know.
Our office is still closed to the public. We are still working and available to answer your questions and assist you at any time from Monday—Friday from 8:00 –4:30.

Hello! My name is Bailey Christofferson and I am the new Summer Program Assistant at the Guthrie County Extension office. Currently, I am a Sophomore at Northwest Missouri State University majoring in Early Childhood Education. In my free time I like spending time with my friends and family, going camping, and four wheeling. I am excited to help in the youth programs and various community activities throughout the summer!
Molly Simmons—[email protected]
My name is Molly Simmons and I live in the Yale area of Guthrie County. I just finished my senior year at Panorama High School and plan on attending Iowa State University this fall to major in Environmental Science and Global Resource Systems. I am actively involved in 4-H, FFA, NHS, and dance. This is my second year working for Guthrie County Extension and I am glad to be back! I am excited to find new innovative ways to work with the youth during this time.
