RECRUITMENT IN CLERICAL CADRE- 2010

GUIDELINES

The Shamrao Vithal Co-operative Bank Ltd., a 104 year old Bank and one amongst the leading topthree Urban Co-operative Banks in the country is hiring talented and aspiring individuals for theclerical cadre.

Eligible candidates are advised to apply online between 25.11.2010 to 18.12.2010 (inclusive of bothdays) only through the banks website after carefully going through the instructions contained in thisadvertisement. No other means/ mode of application will be accepted.

Candidates are advised to download call letters for appearing in the written test from thewebsite by entering their registration number and password which will be generated at thetime of applying online.

4. How to apply

Eligible candidates have to apply online through the Banks website only. No othermeans/ mode of application are acceptable. Before registering their applications on thewebsite, candidates should possess the following:

(i) An e-mail id which shall be valid for the duration of the recruitment process. In casethe candidate does not have a valid e-mail id, he/ she has to create a new email id

before applying online.

(ii) Application Fees can be remitted through SVC Bank or any other Banks ( throughNEFT ). The details of the account to which fee to be remitted is as follows:

The following details should invariably be mentioned while applying online. NEFT Reference Number Date of Remittance Amount Remitted Bank Name Branch Name Branch Code Number (IFSC)

Candidates have to ensure that the above details are obtained from their Bank.

For SVC Bank Customers:The exam fee can be paid from your account in our Bank. Please contact yourbranch for details.

(iii) The payment towards recruitment application fees can be made from 25.11.2010onwards, but before the close of business hours on 18.12.2010. Even if the Bankextends the last date of registration of online applications due to technical reasons,the valid dates during which the payment should be made as indicated above will notbe changed.

(iv) After remitting the application fee, logon to our Banks website www.svcbank.com and follow the link Careers. Then click Recruitment in Clerical Cadre 2010 .Then click apply online . An online application will open. Fill up all the detailsrequired in the application and click Submit available at the bottom of the onlineapplication and the online application will be registered. A Registration Number andPassword will appear on the screen. Kindly note this information for future use.Candidates are required to take a printout of the online application using the aboveregistration number and password. The printout of application form is required tobe submitted at the time of interview.

(v) Candidates are required to bring the following to the examination centre:1. Print out of Call Letter (which can be downloaded by the candidate using

the registration number and password obtained at the time of registration ofonline application). A recent passport size photograph has to be affixed onthe system generated call letter.

2. Original Counterfoil of application feeWithout the above mentioned documents the candidate will not be admitted for thewritten examination.

5. Candidates will have to appear for written test to be conducted by the Bank. The successfulcandidates will be called for an interview. Subject to their being medically fit foremployment, the selected candidates will be initially appointed as trainees andsubsequently on probation. The Bank reserves the right to reject any application withoutassigning any reason and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

6. The Bank will conduct the written test at Pune & Mumbai. The candidate has to select hischoice of venue in the application form. Any request for change of centre for written test/ interview shall NOT be entertained.

7. An application once made will not be allowed to be withdrawn and the application fee oncepaid will NOT BE refunded on any account nor would be held in reserve for any futureexamination or selection. The application fee shall also NOT BE refunded in case theapplication is rejected / not considered by the Bank.

8. The Bank takes no responsibility for any delay in submission of online applications orcommunication. Candidates in their own interest are advised to ensure that paymentthrough NEFT has been successfully remitted as per above instructions and submit theonline applications well before the last date.

9. Candidates are advised to ensure that they are eligible on the parameters of qualificationsand age as prescribed above. In case the candidates do not fulfill the prescribed eligibilitycriteria, they may be disqualified at any stage of the recruitment process.
