Great Place to LiveIn Boston, your next adventure is right outside

your door. CBS News ranks Boston the No. 3 most

walkable city in the US—you are always just steps

away from where you need to be. Follow the

cobblestone streets to Suffolk’s home on Beacon

Hill, a neighborhood in the heart of downtown

Boston. For a breath of fresh air, you can explore

the Boston Public Garden and Boston Common—

both a close walk from campus. You can also zip

around town on the nation’s first subway.

Experience all four seasons in this coastal New

England city. Enjoy the warm autumn colors

during the East Coast’s most popular season.

Watch the winter snow cover the downtown

rooftops. Wait for the spring blossoms to arrive

in the gardens. Bask in the summer sun along the

harbor. Boston is beautiful year-round.

Exciting ExperiencesAlso known as “Titletown,” Boston is home to a

number of professional sports teams which all

have won national championships, like the New

England Patriots, Boston Celtics and Boston Red

Sox. Watch an American football, basketball or

baseball game with a Bostonian to really feel like

a local.

Boston’s attractions go beyond the arena. Visit

the shops along Newbury Street, where you’ll

find boutiques and restaurants. Travel through

time on the Freedom Trail, the famous path that

pays homage to the American Revolution. Catch

a concert at Faneuil Hall or a local venue hosting

up-and-coming artists. And don’t forget to bring

your appetite—according to Sperling’s Best

Places, Boston is the No. 7 foodie destination, so

your next best meal is just around the corner.

Opportunities for Your FutureBoston offers many options for internships or

to start your career after graduation. One of the

Smithsonian Institute’s “Places of Innovation,”

Boston is home to 10 Fortune 500 companies,

1,420 financial firms, 1,877 law firms, 1,911

technology companies and a number of design

and media outlets, such as:

Boston: A City of OpportunityDiscover the best of then and now in Boston, Massachusetts. The city’s revolutionary spirit defines the surrounding historical landmarks and influences the ever-evolving downtown scene. See what the city of champions has in store for you.
