An apprenticeship is a training programme designed for people
seeking progression within their chosen industry.
We offer learners an opportunity to gain a nationally recognised
qualifications, training to support development and, of course,
an opportunity to build a career.
In-Comm has been working in partnership with local employers
for over 30 years offering a wide range of development
programmes delivered in a real working environment.
Individuals study a “framework” which has been designed by
the sector skills council, in consultation with employers. The
apprenticeship is designed to meet the needs of a diverse range
of organisations from small to medium size enterprises through
to the largest organisation, in both the public and private sector.
In-Comm strive to ensure that engineering is positioned and
recognised as a credible career choice carried out by a diverse
workforce that reflects the world we live in.
With skills and succession planning still very much an issue for
industry, it’s worrying that manufacturing is still perceived poorly
as a career choice and that has huge repercussions for future
sustainable growth.
Manufacturers who invest in their people, alongside their product
and processes are more likely to avoid uncertainty in testing
