As a new teacher,how has social media helped you?Social media has given me access to tools I might haveotherwise missed. As a new teacher I do not have the timeto be constantly exploring and looking for answers forevery subject. Through social media (twitter,blogs) I havebuilt an invaluable PLN that has been a support network,resource pool and overall great group of people to workwith. @tinaokelots of great ideas and support. I feel more connected andless "alone" as a newbie. Ive been challenged to rethink (orat least affirm) some of my philosophical beliefs andpractices in the classroom. 35. Im able to get links from experienced teachers fortried-and-true sites as well!It has made my pd ongoing It has connected me to otherresources and opened my eyes to various schools of thought ineducation outside my staff room.
