Great leadership requires us to be ourselves – with great skill.

Goffee & Jones : Why Should Anyone Be Led By You?

! 3

Introducing Chameleon

“Great leaders essentially act as ‘authentic chameleons’ consistently displaying their true selves throughout the changes of contexts that require them to play a variety of

roles.”

Goffee & Jones : Why Should Anyone Be Led By You?

Chameleon is a 2.5 day programme, for experienced leaders, aimed at facilitating development in three key ‘intelligences’ - emotional, social and psychological. It blends together training, a space to reflect, peer group discussion and exchange, and comes with practical tools to enhance leadership effectiveness. This equipping experience is extremely immersive and ‘hands on’ and seeks to address the expressed need from leaders for ‘something more’. It will encourage and challenge you to make a real and immediate difference.

“Attendance at the Chameleon programme should be compulsory for both experienced and aspiring leaders We were led to reflect deeply on our personal dispositions and were given the tools to make meaningful change. The course was engaging, immersive, uplifting and therefore highly memorable.I have been leading large teams for 20 years, yet I have already improved my effectiveness in 'interpersonal danger-zones' as a result of attending Chameleon. Highly recommended.’

Alastair Mackay, Principal, Finaghy PS.

Emotional Intelligence

Objectives:

1. Using the EQi 2.0 psychometric tool you will discover your key strengths and areas for development across the 4 key dimensions of leadership- - authenticity, coaching, insight & innovation. This comes with a detailed 27 page personal report.

2. You will have the opportunity to constructively reflect on these insights in a peer group over the two days.

3. You will be able to identify key action areas to enhance your leadership effectiveness in each of these areas.

What is Leadership Intelligence?

The more socially intelligent you are, the happier and more robust and more

enjoyable your relationships will be.

“Throughout history and in cultures everywhere, the leader in any human group has been the one to whom others look for assurance and clarity when facing uncertainty or threat, or when there’s a job to be done.” D Goleman

Psychological Intelligence

1. You will understand how thinking plays an important role in influencing organisational behaviour and culture.

2. How will grasp how to identify limiting and restrictive thinking in yourself and in others.

3. You will leave with real and practical thinking tools that will revolutionise your worldview and begin the process of a new level of psychological resourcefulness.

‘The recent Chameleon Leadership has been really beneficial. It offers some valuable self-awareness in the increasingly critical areas of emotional, social and psychological intelligence, however more importantly provides very real advice with strategies, techniques and methodologies to help improvement in targeted areas of development.  Words don’t do this justice – it was delivered in an engaging, insightful, ‘entertaining’ and thought provoking way.  As an added bonus, the opportunity to share real life experiences with delegates from different businesses/industries only added to the value of these 2 days.

Phil Harkins, Senior Manager, Concentrix

Social Intelligence

Objectives:

1. You will understand how effective leaders persuade, influence and impact those around them.

2. You will have the opportunity to enhance your communication abilities that go ‘beyond talking’.

3. You will be able to identify barriers to communication and acquire skills to overcome them effectively.

‘Thank you Bill, John and Andrew for providing me with a great experience on the Chameleon programme with a lovely group of people.  It is a unique course which translates EI, which is often seen as a softer skill, into something very tangible.   I’ve come away with new knowledge of how EI affects me, and some models I can use to develop my leadership ability.   I think this will really affect both how I work professionally and personally.’

Aislinn McBride, Chief Architect, Kainos
