Radiologic Technologist/ Technician
What does a “Rad Tech” do?
Mostly, a radiographer takes X-rays of patients. This includes preparing the patient for the process and developing the X-ray film.
A CT (computerized tomography) technologist uses a scanner to produce viewable cross-sections of the body. Tomography is imaging by sections.
MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) technologists are also radiographers, but they use magnets and radio waves to produce images, not radiation.
Pharmacist
What does a “Pharmacist” do?
You are responsible for filling patient’s prescriptions with the correct medicines.You tell them about the medicines and how to use them.
You also work with doctors on choosing the right medicines, making sure they will work with other medications taken by the patient and explaining side effects.
To obtain a license, pharmacist generally must earn a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from a college of pharmacy and pass several examinations.

What does a “Dentist” do?
You look at a patient’s teeth and gums to find disease, treat injuries and diseases of the mouth and teeth that may affect the patient’s overall health.
You will perform dental procedures. You can administer anesthetics to minimize the amount of pain.
A bachelor’s degree is recommended for dental school admission. The Dental Admissions Test (DAT) is required for admission. Students will engage in four years of academic and clinical work at an accredited dental school. A doctor of dental surgery (DDS) or dental medicine (DMD) degree will be awarded upon graduation.

What does a “Dental Assistant” do?
You may help people by cleaning people's teeth and checking them for any sign of disease.
You may educate patients on brushing and flossing, develop X-rays or help treat diseases of the mouth.
You will assist the dentist and keep patient records, set up the patient and the dental equipment.
On-the-job training is a popular method to acquire dental assistant skills. Community colleges, vocational schools, technical institutes or universities also offer training programs.
