Gram is all about making sophisticated sneakers. We create shoes that fill the gap between sneakers and traditional shoes. Our roots lie in the Scandinavian design aesthetic; design with clean lines and attention to details. Each model being unique in its own simplicity.

The brand is centered around the concept of weight, with each shoe being named after its weight in grams.

Good times and bad, old times and new - at Gram we love shoes. In particular shoes that you can wear at the office as well as on a night out.

About Gram

It’s important to us that our products have a long life cycle. Therefore we use craftsman-ship, a whiff of old times and quirky, odd twists to create shoes that are unusual but still easy to wear. Classic but modern. Shoes that both your grandfather would have been proud to wear mountaineering back in the day and you can sport at the office. Shoes for all of you discerning metropolitan rebels.

Craftsmanship and details take centre stage in the collection Resurrection, that is all about bringing the good old back to life. The shoes are hand made by skilled artisans in small, family owned workshops in Southern China. Vibrant tones of mustard, indigo, grass and poppy band together with subdued khaki, crème, jet black and thyme. Oiled leather and soft nubuck pair up with feather light parachute polyester and oilskin canvas, that give the collection both contrasting textures and also an expression totally unlike anything on the market today.

Gram Resurrection takes you from the high-est mountain peak, down to the busy city backstreets and all the way out beyond the paddock and the manor house. Ready for your feet to enjoy!

Part of the Gram Classics. The godfather of all Gram styles, and also the first shoe ever conceived by Gram head designer Alexis Holm. Classic sneaker styling with a twist as elements of dress shoes mix with new materials and different cuts. Side stitched natural rubber cup sole ensures a snug fit and excellent grip on all surfaces. This sea-son the 383g comes in everything from black shiny buffalo leather, resin coated waterproof cotton canvas as well as indigo dyed linen, offering something for everybody.

Part of the Gram Classics. The sleekest hi-top in the collection comes in the shape of the 420g from the Classic line. Unmistakable attitude with unorthodox cuts and perfect balance. The low top of the HW line is a charismatic mixture of several well known classics, the derby, the hiker, the deck shoe & the work boot.With a low slung and chunky silhouette it almost seems glued to the ground. Heavy duty lacing hardware with rollers at the bot-tom and moulded hooks at the top, resting on an 18mm, bottom stitched, pure rubber outsole with inverted lug pattern for serious grip. These are rugged shoes with loads of personality and have been with us since the autumn of 2009. A clear favourite of the head designer himself.

497gPart of the Gram Heavy Weight. Top of the heap in the AW11 collection is the 497g hi-top. As part of the HW line it is clearly the alpha and the omega of heavy weights. A blend of materials and colours, the 497g has both functionality and comfort in mind, calling upon mountaineering boots from the old days and pairing it with hi-tech materials spanning the entire length of the 20th century. Ballistic camouflage nylon, down proof polyester alongside oilskin canvas and sherling sheep skin. Fully leather lined with anatomical foam rubber insole for unrivaled comfort and breathability.

380gPart of the Gram Light Weight. The 380g was conceived as the ultimate casual dress shoe. Embodying the essence of classic men’s footwear with it’s simple derby cut.For AW11 it has been totally reingeneered with a new last, Dura-Lite outsole, leather welt and anatomic rubber sponge insole, for a more sturdy and balanced expression. Us-ing only carefully selected premium materials and genuine hand craft during the production process, every 380g is hand lasted by skilled artisans and matched pair by pair, for the ultimate dressed up comfort experience.

398gPart of the Gram Light Weight. A natural progression of the familiar 380g in the LW line. The 398g offers a comfortable jodphur lace up hybrid with great detail, such as the Norwegian toe stitch and the small raw edge puller at center back. Resting on the same newly developed Duralite outsole as the 380g with a durable natural rubber heel. Technical upper materials mix with classics as both waterproof breathable wool checks as well as oiled leather is utilized for this collection. Anatomical insole, tempered steel shank and full leather lining are, as always, standard on all premium Gram footwear.

Part of the Gram Vulcanized. Gram’s popular vulcanized line VZ returns for AW11 with a fresh take on the oldest of sneaker construc-tions. Based around the idea of taking one of footwear’s most generic products and well known shapes, and then reingeneering it for today, with high quality materials, a fully dampened insole, logo outsole with propri-etary pattern and attention to detail. This is a super comfortable, relaxed way to blend your wardrobe seamlessly with your footwear. Choose between the basic line or the pre-mium full grain leather equipped version.

Part of the Gram Vulcanized. A new edition to the AW11 line-up is the 386g in the VZ line. Offering a hi-top version of the 352g, much like the 386g from SS11, but now with added elastic and leather puller at center back for easier access and disembarkement. Available in the same myriad of colours and materials, offering a colourway for every taste. Larger eyelets add more character to this otherwise understated work horse of the street. Wear it with confidence and you’ll never miss a beat.

About Formforyou

Formforyou is a Swedish design studio founded by Anna Leckström and Kolbrún Leósdóttir. They both have a BA in Furniture and Product Design from Carl Malmsten Furniture Studies in Stockholm.
