COUNTRY SUPPLY MANAGER, KCA Deutag (2014 – Present) Rotational position in Algeria with responsibility for all supply chain activities in expanding land rig operations. Developing local personnel in all Supply Chain disciplines. Harmonising local process requirements whilst complying with corporate and international process and procedures. Identifying and implementing contract opportunities to ensure quality supply locally for the Operation. Managing the restructuring during the oil market downturn and maintaining service improvement and significant cost reductions to clients. PROCUREMENT MANAGER, KCA/WorleyParsons (2014) Residential position in Canada seconded to Worley Parsons on the Hebron Project to manage the procurement of engineering equipment packages for the engineering, procurement & construction contract. Responsibility for the purchase, progress and delivery of packages totalling around $350M and ensuring successful, timely delivery and close out of the orders and certification requirements. Reporting directly to the client Exxon Mobil and Worley Parsons achieving milestone requirements, avoiding delays and penalties. Managing the purchasing team and fifty major equipment purchasing packages to achieve delivery compliant with all Canadian legislation. BULK PACKAGE DELIVERY LEAD, KCA Deutag Canada (2012 – 2013) Residential position in Canada managing bulk package procurement execution and delivery. Spare parts inventory development and project package management for all the equipment packages. PROCUREMENT CO-ORDINATOR, KCA Deutag (2007 – 2008) Co-ordinating all commercial requirements for rigs in West Africa and Mexico. Developing relationships with customers, suppliers and freight forwarders, nationally and internationally. Role required good organisational skills to manage international Supply Chain and client satisfaction. High pressure, fast changing environment made it an exciting and enjoyable challenge.
