    BEFORE THE SHOW

    AdvertisingLet your clients/prospects know that youre exhibiting! Remember to include the Gulf Print

    & Pack 2013 logo and your stand number on your advertisements. Labels & Labeling and

    Packprintworld.com is offering discounted packages on advertisements pre and post-show

    as well as in the official show guide for exhibitors only (see page 15).

    Add the Gulf Print & Pack 2013 logo to sales material, advertising, presentations, press

    releases, email signatures - even letterhead! Download the logo at

    Web bannersPut a banner on your website and direct people straight to www.gulfprintpack.com. It

    doesnt cost you anything and is an easy way of driving people to yourbooth.

    Direct mail / Promotional flyers

    Do a dedicated mailing with promotional flyers to your clients. If you would like us to send

    them out on your behalf (free of charge), please let us know at

    [email protected] example on page 8.

    VIP passes

    This is one of the most powerful ways of inviting your clients and prospects to the show. To

    receive your allocation of VIP codes please email [email protected]. Once you

    have sent these out to your clients you can check if they have used them in the Exhibitor

    Portal. You should have received an email detailing your username and password for the

    portal already if you dont have this please contact [email protected].

    What are they?

    VIP passes give priority service to the holder including:

    A priority badge which clearly marks them as a VIP VIP only registration desk allowing quick and easy access to the show Access to the VIP lounge with free refreshments and cloak room

    Who are they for?

    VIP passes are perfect for your top clients and prospects. Show them that they are

    appreciated and important to you by inviting them as a VIP to come and see your latest

    products and services on display at Gulf Print & Pack.

    How many can I have?

    VIP passes are allocated based on booth size. Each exhibitor is entitled to 1 VIP pass for

    every 3sqm of booth space, rounded to the nearest integer. For example, a 9sqm booth will

    entitle you to 3 VIP passes.

    How do I send VIP codes to my clients?

    You should have already received an email with web links and VIP codes, you can send either

    to your clients.

    How do my clients register for VIP entry? How does the registration code work?

    The code will need to be entered during the registration process. Each code can only be used

    once.

    Why should we encourage our VIP clients to pre-register?

    Pre-registration allows your clients to collect their badge from a special desk at the show and

    so skip the lines.

    Emails

    Send an emailone of the simplest and most cost-effective ways of reaching your client

    base. No time or facilities? Dont worry send us the list and well do it for you (free of

    charge) contact us at [email protected].

    Newsletters

    We will publish one printed newsletter along with a regular electronic version before the

    showsent to the press and attendee databases. The newsletter contains brief news stories

    (e.g. product launches new initiatives etc). If you would like to be considered for inclusion,

    please send us your story as soon as possible (see Timetable). The news story should not be

    more than 100 words. Please also include a high-resolution photo if you have one. The story

    will also be put on the website under Product launches. Send to [email protected].

    Please note: We cannot guarantee to publish all the stories submitted. We retain the right to

    edit the stories, while making every effort to keep the original text.

    Media list

    The Gulf Print & Pack 2013 media list is available free of chargegiving you the opportunity

    to contact the media yourself about your presence at the show. Please contact the PR team

    at [email protected] to request the list electronically.

    Stand out from the other 400 exhibitors! Be creative and choose a sponsorship opportunity

    for your brand and budget. See full details on page 10.

    Show daily

    The official show daily is being produced by PrintWeek MEA on our behalf to submit stories

    please send them to [email protected] you would like to book advertising in

    the show daily please contact Mike Simmonds on [email protected].

    Show guide

    The official show guide should be an essential part of your presence at the show. In addition

    to advertising options, the show guide lists contacts and descriptions for all exhibitors. We

    will send you an email link to update your entry in February.

    Press packs

    You can create press packs that will be displayed in the press centre for the media to view

    and collect. These packs make it easy for journalists to access your information and news. It

    may also encourage them to visit your stand. Press packs can be as substantial as you wish

    to make them, with free gifts, CDs, photographs and company information or they could

    just be a press release. The key is to make them as eye catching and interesting as possible.

    If you would like advice on your pack, please do not hesitate to contact the PR team. We

    recommend you produce 10 press packs for the press centre.

    Photography

    A professional photographer will be taking generic shots for future Gulf Print & Pack PR and

    marketing use. The photographer will also be available at an extra cost, to photograph your

    stand or VIPs. Please contact [email protected] for more information.

    Twitter / Social Media:

    The official Gulf Print & Pack Twitter account is @GulfPrintPack. Please follow us and

    remember to include it in your tweets. For example ABC Company is launching XYZ product

    at @GulfPrintPack.

    are available free of charge to exhibitors and you can order as many as you like (subject to

    availability). Remember to include them with any mailings to your clients and prospects. Its

    an easy way of introducing them to Gulf Print & Pack 2013 and to outline all the benefits of
