For my own sake, for my own sake, I do it, for how should my name be profaned? My glory I will not give to another.

Creation God, who is transcendent, creates the Universe, and all

physical matter theein

God also creates spiritual entities, such as angels and angelic creatures

God creates the Earth

God asserts that His creation is good

God creates human beings as the crown of His efforts

Humans are made in the “image of God”

All else in creation is created via God's spoken Word – but man is created by His very hands, and life in breathed into him through his nostrils

Adam is created first, and afterward Eve is created as a counterpart or helper for Adam

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.

Genesis 1:1

Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion...

then the LORD God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature.

Then the LORD God said, "It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him."

So the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and while he slept took one of his ribs and closed up its place with flesh. And the rib that the LORD God had taken from the man he made into a woman and brought her to the man.

Now the serpent was more crafty than any other beast of the field that the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, "Did God actually say, 'You shall not eat of any tree in the garden'?"

Then the LORD said, "I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters. I know their sufferings...

Then Moses said to God, "If I come to the people of Israel and say to them, 'The God of your fathers has sent me to you,' and they ask me, 'What is his name?' what shall I say to them?"

God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM." And he said, "Say this to the people of Israel, 'I AM has sent me to you.'"

...every man shall take a lamb according to their fathers' houses, a lamb for a household.

Your lamb shall be without blemish...

...the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill their lambs at twilight.

And Moses took the blood and threw it on the people and said, "Behold the blood of the covenant that the LORD has made with you in accordance with all these words."

And the LORD said to Moses, "Make a fiery serpent and set it on a pole, and everyone who is bitten, when he sees it, shall live." So Moses made a bronze serpent and set it on a pole. And if a serpent bit anyone, he would look at the bronze serpent and live.

Now, therefore, thus you shall say to my servant David, 'Thus says the LORD of hosts, I took you from the pasture, from following the sheep, that you should be prince over my people Israel.

...When your days are fulfilled and you lie down with your fathers, I will raise up your offspring after you, who shall come from your body, and I will establish his kingdom.

Matthew 27:24-26

When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, “It is finished,” and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

John 19:30
