DEAR PARENTS
Welcome back from the long vacation and to the
beginning of a new academic year .We hope you
had enough time to bond with the children,
supervise their home works and assignments
We wish to take this opportunity to welcome our
new parents to the Taal-net family who have
made a bold decision to entrust us with their dear
children .Let me hasten to assure you that they are
in safe and capable hands so please relax.
We are thankful to the parents for the cooperation
we received during 2018 and pray that the same
spirit prevail in 2019 and some years beyond as
we travel this journey together.

GO S
SCHOOL UNIFORMS
Please note that the uniform shop is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm then on Saturday 8am to 1pm for your convenience. There is staff dedicated to assist you at all times .We are very happy to inform you that you can now shop online in the comfort of your homes and from wherever you are. Wearing school uniforms cultivates equality in schools, it can prevent social snobbery through certain dress styles that are associated with particular wealth or status. With school uniforms you can break down societal and culture walls, making it easier for the children to interact with one another from diverse backgrounds. It is for this reason that we encourage parents to make an effort to secure a complete uniform for the learners.

School Communication In an effort to enhance school-parent communication, Taalnet Group of Schools launched the School communication application. We encourage all the parents to download and register so that they keep up to date with all developments in the school. Can be downloaded from the Play store. As if this is not enough, we now have 24/7 online support via our website www.taalct.co.za where parents can be attended to at any time of the day from anywhere in the world – for us, distance is not a barrier. We take note of the environment we live in that needs to be taken care of hence the need for a paperless environment. Parents are urged to take advantage of these communication tools so that they do not miss out on very important information.

Thank you for entrusting us with your
children to ensure that they realize their
visions. Trust us, we shape it, we build it
and we guarantee that they are on a
trajectory to success.
In line with our Vision, the following are
our key school strategic thrusts for 2019:
(i)Make sure that ICT in all our schools is
enhanced
(ii)Ensure that we have Science Labs and
related equipment in all the schools
(iii)Student textbook ratio of 1:1
(iv)Achievement of 100% pass rate
For us to achieve the above, we need to
work very hard and the support from
parents plays a very important role.
Levies are well stipulated in all the
schools and we are appealing to all the
parents for timeous payments.
We have managed to keep the same staff
we had last year and a few ones who are
no longer in the system have been
replaced by still qualified , motivated
and experienced Educators who are full
of energy and have a high vive for
success. Do not worry the learners are in
capable and safe hands. Communication
is one of the key drivers of success in
every organization.

All the Taal-Net schools converged on 22 February 2019 at Diggers

All the schools were put into 5 groups to foster the spirit of teamwork
amongst our leaners. Group A was made up of Pretoria and Midrand,

This year marks the 10th anniversary of Taal-Net Group of schools. As usual, this will be celebrated through the curriculum implementation in the areas of Arts and culture. The event will take place on the 12th of October 2019 on a Saturday at 437 Sam Green Street, Meadowdale from 0800hrs to 1500hrs.Traditionaly this event has been taking place on a Friday but it has been moved to Saturday to accommodate parents to come and witness the event, support their children and also enjoy.
Updates will be given using the various platforms that we have in the system. We are requesting for material support and cooperation from all the parents to make this Taal-Net family event a success. Our intention is to make this event a big one that everyone will always remember.
Parents are reminded that a student ID is mandatory. Students should carry ID cards on them at all times and this increases safety for both students and staff. We do not want trespassing in our school premises hence the need to restrict entry by means of student IDs. The school offers a same day service for the IDs for everyone’s convenience. We request all parents to ensure that all the leaners have the IDs with them.
