Teacher Planning and management

• Environmental issues are a part of our curriculum. Pollution and waste are the biggest issues of today’s world. Saving our planet and keeping it green is the theme behind this project. The project begins with the knowledge of “waste” and its two main categories (managed and un managed waste). Next students become aware of managed waste which can be reused and recycled. Unmanaged waste has to be disposed off properly. The use of ICT during this project enhanced students’ independent learning, critical thinking, problem solving, sharing and presentational skills. Technology simplified the process of teaching and learning. Different teaching strategies are used i.e. pair work, group discussions, whole class discussions, presentations, convincing , walk. This project started in January 2012 and ended in April 2012
