Getting Started with the True Dungeon Token Inventory This guide will show you how to manually enter your token inventory. How to upload your tokens into the Inventory Program with a CSV file will be explained elsewhere. But before we start, let’s identify the different parts of the interface. Input Panel Starting at the top we have the Year Board. With it you can click on the year of the tokens you wish to add to your inventory. Next down are the Rarity Buttons. Clicking one of these will limit the display to only that rarity. Click to display all rarity levels. At the bottom we have the Token Back selector. Use this to select the color of the next token back you add to your inventory. You can either click one of the colored buttons or select a color from the drop-down box. My Inventory Window This is where all the tokens you entered will be displayed. At the top you can limit the display to a particular year by clicking the white year digits. You may also limit the display to a particular rarity by clicking one of the colored Rarity Buttons. Finally, you can display just tokens with a particular token back color by clicking the appropriate color button or by picking it from the drop-down list. If your collection is longer than the list currently displays, click and drag the handle on the scroll bar on the right. Just below the My Inventory window is the Save Inventory button. As you probably guessed, click this to save your current inventory.

  • Getting Started with the True Dungeon Token Inventory This guide will show you how to manually enter your token inventory.

  • Okay, I understand all those window parts, but how do I put in my tokens? Step 1: Click the year of the token you wish to enter on the Input Panel. Tokens made from 2007 on will have an icon on the front of the token which indicates the year. Tokens printed from 2003-2006 have the year icon on the back. For detailed illustrations of these icons, review the Token Guide on the Resources page. The link is at the top of the page. Step 2: Select the color of your token backs. (For tokens printed prior to 2007, use the gold token back color.) Most tokens have a gold back, so you’ll probably keep it on gold most of the time.

Step 3: You can either start clicking the Add button next to the tokens you possess, or you could limit the display to a particular rarity. For example, if you have a bunch of rare tokens you wish to enter, click and only rare tokens for that year will be displayed. Click the Add button for each token of that title you possess. You may find it easier to pre-sort your tokens by rarity and/or year prior to entering them into the database. But even if you don’t, adding a token to your inventory is just a click away. Continue to add tokens until all your tokens have been entered. It’s a good idea to save your work regularly by clicking the Save Inventory button. Step 4: Review or update your collection. If you need to add or subtract tokens from your inventory, you can do that in the My Inventory Window. Click the Add or Subtract buttons to increase or decrease the quantity of a specific token title you have. If you want to completely eliminate a token from your inventory, click under “Remove” to delete it.

    Don’t forget to click frequently.

What do the various rarity and colors of tokens mean? When you buy a standard pack of tokens, you will get a sealed stack of 10. Of those 10, one will be Rare and its name will be printed in red ink. Rare tokens tend to be more powerful. Two of the tokens in a standard pack will be Uncommons and their names are printed in green ink. Uncommon tokens generally have an average power level. The rest of the tokens in a ten pack will be Commons. Since 2007, Common tokens are printed in black ink. (From 2003-2006 they were printed in brown ink.) About one percent of the time, you’ll get an Ultra Rare token instead of one of the Commons. Ultra Rare tokens are the most powerful and their names are printed in purple ink.

Nine of the tokens in a standard pack will have Gold backs. One of them—it could be any rarity level—will have a Platinum back. The color of the token’s back has absolutely nothing to do with the function of the token. A +1 Sword is still a +1 Sword, be it a gold back or platinum back. Ultra Rare tokens are not produced with Platinum backs.

You may also come across tokens with an Onyx back. Onyx tokens are available as a premium for large token pre-orders.

In the Inventory Program, the “Special” category consists of several different types of tokens. Monster Trophies, also known as ingredient tokens, are listed under Special. Combo tokens, ones constructed from other tokens, are in the Special category. Additionally, tokens which just don’t fit into the standard Common/Uncommon/Rare/Ultra Rare classifications are put here. Most notably, Artisan tokens from 2006, Lore tokens from 2010, and Artifacts are considered Specials. For further details on these unusual token types, see the Token Guide under Resources.

  • How can I trade tokens with other collectors? The inventory program allows you to indicate to other collectors you have tokens to trade or that you are looking to acquire tokens.

To flag a token you are willing to part with, put a check to the right of the token name under the column labeled “AWAY”. This will tell other collectors you’re willing to trade away this token for something else.

If you wish to acquire a token, add it to your inventory, but put a check to the right of the token name under the column labeled “FOR”. This will tell other collectors you are looking for that token.

    Remember to click regularly.

After you flag all the tokens you have to trade away or for, click to be taken to the Trade Search page. From there you can search for other traders who may have what you’re looking for or whom may be interested in acquiring what you have.

You can search any combination of Year, Rarity, or Back Color. You can also look for tokens people are seeking or tokens others want to trade away. If you see a token you’re interested in trading, click it and it will show the name of the person who currently has it. Click their name to send them a private message and negotiate the trade.
