5 STEPS TO AN ORGANIZED YOU

GETTING ORGANIZED GUIDEBOOK

I wanted to maximize my time, fulfill my business goals, and spend

time with my family.

All while not STRESSING out of my mind!

STEP ONE

CORRECTING YOUR MIND

“If you correct your mind, the rest of your life will fall into place.” -Lao Tzu

No matter how organized we

are, eventually we run out of

time to get things done.

I slept less and STRESSED more.

I wanted to get things DONE so I

could MOVE ON to more important

things.

“We have to correct our minds to unlearn old nonproductive patterns to relearn new, more effective behaviors. ”

Jot down what patterns you know aren’t working.

STEP TWO

Managing the Easy

“Anticipate the difficult by managing the easy. -Lao Tzu”

Now that we have a list of our problem areas, it should be

obvious what your problem is.

My problem was that I was trying to get a task done to completion

then move on to the next.

Breaking up tasks into smaller pieces actually allowed me to

finish quicker.

As we’re all different, I’d like you to take the time to jot down what you’ve found your problem to be.

This will help you discover which routines are the quickest and

easiest to perform.

These are the areas you can bunch up and perform a little of a

lot.

STEP THREE

“Time is a created thing. To say ‘I don’t have time’ is like saying ‘I

don’t want to. -Lao Tzu”

Although it didn’t feel as if I was accomplishing much the last

several weeks, I’m finally finished!

To help you get started, my priorities are:

Our goal isn’t to get all this done at once.

We want to use some time every week to work a little bit on these

things.

You can’t really have an effective schedule unless you know what

your priorities are.

STEP FOUR

“Your mind is everything. What you think, you become. -Buddha”

Can you free up time in the morning by changing your

schedule?

What priorities are you prepared and willing to work on?

What routine tasks have you been doing that you can lump together

and do almost at once?

STEP FIVE

“Progress is impossible without change and those who cannot

change their minds cannot change anything.–George

Bernard Shaw”

What will you do to simplify your day and organize your life?
