Standard Features Constructed of corrosion resistant T316 stainless steel Standard 150lb ANSI bolt pattern • Can be installed after complete welding of piping system Designed to fit PROGEF ® Standard, PROGEF ® Natural and SYGEF ® PVDF flange adapters • Low cost, when compared to cutting and re-welding installed piping systems General The Georg Fischer Two-Piece Corrosion-Resistant Flange Backing Rings are designed to provide a cost-effective way to replace a conventional single-piece flange without the need to cut off and re-weld pipe stub flange adapters. The T316 Stainless Steel construction of the two-piece design allows for added chemical resistance while reducing the time and labor costs normally associated with this type of repair. For large diameter pipes, the two-piece design can be installed after pipes are in place, allowing for less handling weight of individual pieces and resulting in a more efficient, less expensive installation and replacement cost. When used in conjunction with PROGEF and SYGEF piping systems, GF’s two-piece T316 Stainless Steel flange backing rings provide a complete solution for superior protection against highly corrosive applications.
