The MLS General English courses are for students who want to study in a mature environment (the average age in 2019 was 34, minimum age is 16), and who fully appreciate that studying English in an English-speaking country is without doubt the fastest and most effective way to learn English.

The MLS Exam Preparation courses are designed for students who are specifically seeking preparation for a particular exam, or who feel they will benefit from an exam focused syllabus. MLS is able to offer different kinds of English Language Examination preparation courses to suit your individual needs.

The MLS General English language courses are open to adult students from all over the world who have a need for, and interest in, developing their general language skills in English, regardless of their level of English.

The delivery of the MLS General English syllabus is organised in timetabled classes in distinct Elements of Study. The core English syllabus is delivered across any two of the three General English Elements, or the Exam Preparation Element.

Time really flies. Six weeks ago, I arrived here as a newcomer who was full of curiosity yet also insecurity. But soon after that, I found all my worries and uneasiness disappeared at the first sight of Lesley, who was smiling at me with a warm welcome in the Student Lounge. The following days were brilliant, along with the big changes on me. Exposed to the school atmosphere with various nationalities and age groups, I got to learn about different cultures and made a lot of friends. When it came to classes, every teacher I met here is responsible and patient, and always glad to answer all kinds of questions I asked. Here, I’d like to thank my teachers – you are all really good teachers in my heart. Apart from that, we can also enjoy amazing social programmes here, such as conversation clubs, cultural dinners, the Sea Safari and so on.

I really appreciate all the people I have met here. And it’s definitely an unforgettable experience in my life.
