1. Unplug the oyen, discharge capacitor.2. Disconnect leads from interlock switches.
3. Remove Interlock by spreading'spring tabs.

1. Disconnect power and remove glass shelf.
2. Remove the gasket door from door plate.3. Remove the door frame from door plate.4. Remove the barrier screen outer from door frame
5. Remove the top hinge stopper from door plate.6. Remove the spring and the hook
NOTE: Perform microwave leakage test.

pad.• Alternately Touch each function pad and enter time, or
code selection for function-also change power levels.• Touch Clear-Off after each function test to clear that

• Repeat procedure for each function to exercise each pad.• Control and Display should respond to each entry.
• Display should revert to Time-Of-Day after each clear-Off.

CONTROL PANEL REMOVAL
1. Disconnect power, remove outer case and dischargecapacitar.

MICROWAVE LEAKAGE TEST1. Place 275ml. water in 600ml. beaker (WB64 X 5010)2. Place beaker in center of oyen shelf.3. Set meter to 2450 MHz scale.4. Turn oyen "ON" for 5 minute test.
5. Hold probe perpendicular to surface being tested andscan surfaces at rate of one inch/sec.
Test the following areas:
• Entire perimeter of door and control panel
• Viewing surface of door window• Exhaust vents
6. Maximum leakage 4mW/cm2.
7. Record data on service invoice and microwave leakage
reporto
NOTE: Maximum allowable leakage is 5 mW/cm2•
4 mW/cm2 is used to allow for measurement and
meter accuracy.Inform the manufacturer of any oyen found to have emissionin excess of 5 mW/cm2• Make repairs to bring the unit into
compliance at no cost to owner and try to determine cause.Instruct owner not to use oyen until it has been brought into
compliance.

HIGH VOLTAGE CAPACITORThe high voltage capacitor has an internal shunt resistor to
automatically discharge the capacitor when the oven turns "off'.Under normal operation the capacitor should fully dischargewithin 30 seconds.
Warning!
Always be certain the capacitor is discharged before
servicing. Mechanically discharge by placing an insulatedhandle screwdriver between the diode connection of the
capacitor and oven chassis ground.
Note: Use screw head close to capacitor to insure groundmetal contact.
CAPACITOR AND DIODE REMOVAL1. Disconnect power, remove outer case and discharge
capacitor.2. Disconnect leads and diode from capacitor.3. Remove the screw which secure the grounding ring terminal
of diode and capacitor holder.
4. Remove the capacitor holder with capacitor.

HOW TO TEST MONITOR1. Unplug oven, remove outer case and discharge capacitor.
2. Check 20 Amp. fuse for continuity and proper size. Do not
use any other fuse or size except the 20 Amp. Cat. NO.WB27 x 0816
3. Remove one monitor switch lead to isolate switch. Check
continuity of switch with door open and door closed.Door Closed: ooQ
Ooor Open: OQ4. Reconnect switch wiring.5. Test Circuit Operations.
A) Connect temporary jumper across relay contacts.
primary interlock and door sense switches to simulateshorted switch contacts. Locate convenient
connections in circuit to be certain COM and N. O.
terminals are used.
B) Connect Ohm meter (Rx1) across the line terminals of
the appliance cord. Continuity must show:Door Closed: someQ
Door Open: OQ
C) Remove 20 Amp. fuse-circuit must open(ooQ).
If not, check wiring of monitor and interlocks.6. WARNING! After test remove temporary jumper leads
from interlocks and relay.7. Replacement of any parts or monitor circuit requires
repeating the entire test procedure.
WARNING! When 20 Amp. fuse is blown due to operation ofmonitor switch-both interlock switch es and the monitor
switch must be replaced.
Then repeat test.

The power relay is mounted on the control smart board andwhen it becomes faulty must be replaced as an assembly:

1. Loosen the screw securing the plastic latch body. (Do not
remove)2. Adjust the plastic latch body position so that the interlock
monitor switch opens before the primary interlock switchcloses when the do6t"is-closed.
3. Tighten screw.
