Belt Brod-Kastor Gives Uniform Spread

A broadcast fertilizer distributor which spreads pelleted and granular fertilizers in swaths up to 4 0 feet wide has been introduced b y The Belt Corp. , Orient, Ohio. It is reported that the fair-ways of an average 18-hole course can be fer-tilized in 4 hours with the distributor. Mounted on its own undercarriage or trailer, and with a hopper capaci ty of ap-proximately 1 4 0 0 lbs., the Brod-Kastor can be easily loaded since its hopper height is only four ft. from the ground. The Brod-Kastor can be powered from the P T O of standard tractors or, equipped with its own gasoline engine, can be pulled b y a jeep, pickup truck or small tractor.

Outstanding Advances Claimed for Spalding's 1959 Clubs

What are said to be outstanding advances in golf manufacture distinguish Spalding's registered 1 9 5 9 models, Synchro-Dyned, Ilydrosealed woods and in the "Per-ma-Finish" irons. The new Hydrosealed woods and " P e r m a - F i n i s h " irons are available in the Top-Flite and Gene Littler "Pro Model" registered clubs.

In the Hydrosealed woods there are new overall design of heads, new nylon face inserts and new super sole plates. These features have been added to the "Syn-chro-Dyned" Spalding exclusive, a process by which heads, shafts and grips are coordinated by exacting formula to give synchronized action and perfect matching of each club of the set. Spalding's new "Perma-Finish" irons not only have a beautiful chrome finish but three platings which render the clubs more durable and more nick resistant.

snow removal blade.
