MANAGER: INFORMATION COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY REMUNERATION : R459180 – R529380 per annum Task Grade Level : 15 Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Computer Science/Information Communication Technology or equivalent. Certificate: MCITP/MCSE, ITIL IT Service Management, Prince 2/PMBOK. Code 08 Driver’s License. At least 4 years ‘experience in Local Government ICT Environment, including two (2) years in a supervisory position with the following key competency, Knowledge of ICT Infrastructure and Application Virtualization Technologies and solutions. INFORMATION COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY (ICT) SECURITY OFFICER REMUNERATION : R279 084 – R452 328 Task Grade Level : 11 - 14 Job requirements: • Matric/Grade 12 • NQF Level 6 qualification in Information Technology relevant qualification • A+, N+ Certification • A valid driver’s licence • 3 years’ experience in the Information Technology field.

Key performance areas: • Plans, develops, installs, troubleshoots, maintains and supports an operating system and associated server hardware, software and databases ensuring optimum system integrity, security, backup and performance. Performs tasks/ activities associated with the preparation, capturing, storing and maintaining of data and, presentation of information using database procedures, applications and tools to ensure it provides comprehensive and complete information supporting analysis, discussions, queries and decision-making processes.

ICTSO takes the strategic role in terms of monitoring and evaluation and the structure such as; ICTSO Management committee, extended management committee, ICT Steering committee, branch management committees and project teams are established to monitor and evaluate both IMST and Annual Planning • The office of the ICTSO ensures that, each function is implemented based on set of policies, procedures and standards. ICTSO must ensure that the policies such as; the ICT Governance charter, Information System Security Policies and ICT Governance policies are developed, implemented and monitored • ICTSO must also ensure that, relevant procedures and standards are in place to implement policies

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT

REMUNERATION : R362 232 – R407 820 per annum

Task Grade : 13

Job requirements: Grade 12 plus relevant (NQF Level 6) three year Higher National Diploma or B.Com Degree with at least 3-4 years’ relevant experience in supply chain management and logistics in a municipal or similar environment. Proven knowledge of Public Sector Supply Chain Management • Knowledge of the bidding process • Proven knowledge of Procurement Management – Goods and Contract Management - Services• Knowledge of Legislations & Regulations: MFMA, PPPFA and SCM • Experience in working with service providers and consultants, both on long and short term basis. Computer literacy, ability to work under pressure and meet deadline. Must be in possession of a valid driver’s license. Key performance areas: Co-ordinates the implementation of functional procedures, systems and controls associated with the key performance areas and result indicators of the functionality. Requirements: National Diploma in Water Care, Chemical Engineering or equivalent qualification • Registration with DWA regulation as Class V Process Controller Certificate for the operation of water and waste water care works • At least 3 – 5 years’ experience in water and waste water treatment plant • Must have a valid Code B driver’s licence • Must be willing to work shifts, standby and overtime and travel extensively • Proficiency in at least two of the official local languages.

Key Performance Areas: Supervise and operate waste water treatment works inclusive of pump stations and associated rising mains • Supervise the daily running of activated sludge plant or biological trickling filter plant so that the quality of effluent and its associated sludge produced comply with license conditions issued by DWA • Organize and record inspection results • Interpret laboratory result and conduct adjustment accordingly • Plan and provide for maintenance service by means of best practises in order to ensure OHS-Act • Department of Labour and SHE compliance • Record and report all equipment and need for maintenance to relevant section • Investigate and attend to customer complaints and compile reports • Supervise and monitor performance and support of staff in the section to optimum outputs and result as per prescribed legislation and municipal policies.

MANAGER TRAFFIC SERVICES REMUNERATION : R459 180 – R529 380 per annum Task Grade Level : 15 Requirements: National Diploma in Traffic Law Enforcement or equivalent. Qualified as Grade A: examiner of vehicle testing, drivers’ licenses and leaners licenses. A valid driver’s license: EC/code 14 & 15 motor cycles licenses. At least 5 years’ experience in Traffic Law Enforcement of which 3 years must be at management level. Registration as an authorized Traffic Officer. Knowledge and understanding of E-Natis, testing center and testing station’s National requirements and standards. Knowledge, understanding and interpretation of National Road Traffic Act, Local Government Legislation and municipal environment and other relevant legislation. Computer; MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power point, Publisher, Access and internet. Ability to multi-task and work independently. Analytical and report writing skills. Interpersonal, presentation and communication skills. Ability to work extended hours, overtime, during public holidays, night shifts when required Key performance areas: Plan, manage and implement Traffic Law Enforcement activities/functionality in line with the National Road Traffic Act (Act no. 93 of 1996) and Land Transport Transitional Act of 2000 (22 of 2000). Manage and control the Traffic Centre operations by assessing and evaluating capacity to meet requirements of the public, monitoring license testing and issuing sequence and deviations, verifying records and registers against applications and issue of licenses or permits check the condition and status of the Testing Centre facilities, testing materials and/or equipment and address deviations. Conduct assessment on vulnerable and potential disaster areas, provide critical information on risk response, recovery and rehabilitation procedures and monitor the execution of Disaster Management plans and interventions. SENIOR TRAFFIC OFFICERS X 2 Remuneration : R279084 – R311640 per annum Task Grade Level : 11 Requirements: Diploma in Traffic Law Enforcement or equivalent qualification. Qualified as Grade A: Examiner of vehicles testing, drivers and leaners licenses. At least 3 years’ experience as Traffic Officer. Valid driver’s license EC/code 14 and 15 motorcycle.
