Dear Children,
Summer Break is a perfect opportunity to learn something new and interesting. It's time to indulge in your favourite activities for which you don't find time during the rest of the year.
Learn to play a musical instrument, sing a song, learn a new language, nurture a new hobby, be an active member in your family and neighborhood and get involved in some practical work like planting a tree, recycling activities regarding conservation and preservation of environment.
Include reading activities in your daily routine. Learn in a variety of ways – through experience, experimentation, discussion, asking, listening, thinking and expressing yourself in speech or writing.
Some fun filled activities have being designed for you to channelize your energy and talent in a creative manner, work independently, collaboratively and harmoniously.
Looking forward to meeting you on 1st July, rejuvenated, ready to take on new challenges and spreading sunshine with your smiles.

1. Indulge yourself in various activities – sports, swimming, dance, aerobics,
yoga, singing. Explore your hobbies and discover your talent.
2. Brisk walk, jogging, running, laughing, skipping, meditation and, of course,
eating healthy food energise your body and make you fit.

your surroundings. Try to find five new and interesting words each day and
their meanings to use them appropriately in your daily conversation.
4. Try practising meditation, yoga and other exercises to calm your mind.
Learn to maintain healthy relationships with friends.
5. It's probably not your favourite job but cleaning the house is an important
assignment. Take some time to learn ways to conserve water and electricity.
6. Maintain a diary using beautiful handwriting and express your thoughts,
events of the day or write about a place you have visited. Paste pictures
taken by you or pictures of you clicked by someone else.
7. Man needs to coexist in harmony with his environment. “Water- The elixir
of life”, needs to be conserved and wisely used. This summer, use water
judiciously and follow any five ways to save water.

technology. Visit places like Nehru Planetarium, National Science Centre
and learn about latest technology.
9. We would also like you to work on improving your handwriting during the
vacation time.
