Annual Kids on the MoveFundraising Walk

Rushton students, staff, and parents,

we invite you to get up, get moving, and help raise funds for PTA at our

Kids on the Move Walk at Rushton on April 19!

All students, staff and parents are invited to participate in this event during the school day from 1:00-

3:00. PTAs Student Health & Wellness committee is sponsoring the event, and we want to seeeveryone at our school on the move to promote a healthier lifestyle!

Participants will walk a course on Rushtons grounds, and during the event, they can enjoy music,

refreshments and information about living a more active and healthy life. There will also be additional

amenities available to walkers who achieve certain fundraising incentives detailed below. However,

all students can participate in the event regardless of if they raise funds or not. All activity at the walk

will count towards the Rushton Movers program! So parents and grandparents are welcome to

attend!

Please send your student to school in their Rushton shirt and good walking shoes on April 19. In the

event of rain, the walk will be rescheduled for April 26. Parents, please ask your employer if they do

matching funds for this type of Health and Wellness fundraising event!We Need Volunteers!

IncentivesPrize Level 1 for Students

Every student who raises atleast $10will receive: -Reusable water bottle

-One complimentary

100% fruit juice Slushy

upon completing Walk(Slushies will also be avail-able for everyone else to

purchase for $1)

Prize Level 2 for Students

Every student who raises atleast $30will receive: -Prizes in Level 1 AND

-Short-sleeve Kids on

the Move Walk T-Shirt

-Access to BouncyHouse inatable after

completing Walk

Grand Prize for

StudentsThe two students from

each class who raise the

most overall will receive:

-a Courtyard Party

during school!(Please note, students

must achieve Prize Level

2 to qualify for the Grand

Prize.)

Rushton Faculty Prize

Faculty Member who raises the

most funds will receive:

-a Gift package to Jennifer

Shelton Balance

Other Adult Participant Prizes

All adults who participate in the

event will be entered into a drawing

for prizes at the close of the event.
