• NOTE: Healthy individuals should be excreting a significant amount of Pyroglutamate. • Low levels, such as the test above strongly suggest glutathione depletion & severe

oxidative stress.

• NOTE: a-hydroxybutyrate is ideally <50. Elevated levels of this metabolite suggest diversion from glutathione synthesis & increased oxidative stress.
