NEW BOOSTER PUMP STATION SCRIA GRANT NO. R-17-1115

SNEE FARM DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS SRF PROJECT NUMBER 511-40

The Town of Mount Pleasant (Town) will receive Bids from qualified and interested Bidders for the construction services for Snee Farm Drainage Improvements as specified within the Bid Documents contained herein. In general, but not limited to, the work will include the repair, replacement, upgrade, and rehabilitation of the stormwater system in the Snee Farm neighborhood. Improvements include replacing and upgrading compro-mised stormwater pipes, installing new stormwater pipes, rehabilitating existing pipes, channel maintenance and repair, and constructing retrofit water quality BMPs. Construction activities include, but are not limited to, clear-ing and grubbing, grading, pipe removal and installation, asphalt paving, pavement removal, curb and gutter construction, sidewalk placement, erosion control, pavement markings and maintenance of traffic control during construction. The total length of the project is approximately one and thirty-five hundredths (1.35) miles of instal-lation, two and six tenths (2.6) miles of rehabilitation, one (1) mile of channel maintenance, six (6) locations of retrofit water quality BMPs, and includes work along various side streets, one state road, and multiple areas of private ownership. Construction time shall not exceed Seven Hundred Thirty 730 calendar days from the com-mencement date in the Notice to Proceed. This project will be funded by the State Revolving Fund (SRF) Project and as such is subject to Federal rules and regulations as stated in the project specifications including the Davis-Bacon Act and the American Iron and Steel provisions. The applicable DHEC district office maintains the authority to conduct inspections at any time during the project construction. The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) has approved the work along SCDOT roadways and reserves the right to inspect and reject roadway work in these areas. One (1) unbound original copy of the Bid shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly marked “SNEE FARM DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS, IFB# 1718-111-CM”, including the Bidder’s name and Contractors License Number, and one copy shall be submitted in electronic form through the Town’s Procurement Portal. ILLUMINA SEQUENCING AND DETECTION KITS

The South Carolina Department of Health & Environmental Control (DHEC) is seeking qualified vendors to pro-vide Illumina Sequencing and Detection Kits using Next Generation DNA Sequencing technologies. Test Kits must be validated for use by CDC for PulseNet developed protocols for whole genome sequencing (WGS) for the Illumina MiSeq™ Next Generation Sequencing instruments. The test kits will be used by DHEC Public Health Laboratory for WGS cluster analysis for outbreak identification.
