Why Now?The Squamish community has asked the Sea

to Sky School District No. 48 Board of Education to consider the implementation of Early French Immersion programming

French Immersion in SD 48SD 48 implements Late French Immersion

programming and has done so for the last 27 years

In Squamish the program is delivered in Squamish Elementary School

DecisionThe Sea to Sky School District No. 48 Board

of Education will decide to replace the current Late French Immersion program in Squamish with an Early French Immersion program, OR maintain the current Late French Immersion program.
