LABYRINTH IN THE LIBRARY On Friday, Franklin PS was invited to watch the Labyrinth in the Library. This was a performance that captured the laughter and engagement of both students and staff. The Labyrinth in the Library showcased the importance of using our imaginations to expand our minds and think outside the box. The performer had our students and staff in fits of laughter and we hope this has encouraged students to read more and use their imaginations and minds to create images and stories of their own.
Bridget Symons has been a member of the Riverina Regional Choir this year. Bridget will be performing with the Choir today at the Official opening of Education Week in Wagga today.
An outstanding effort Bridget!

Aliyah and Lucy standing with our own gizmos we
designed.
This term we have been studying a book called The Gizmo, by Paul Jennings. We have been learning about which qualities make a good friend, making good choices and
peer pressure.

During art we created our own ships. The drawings are very detailed and it took us an hour to draw them! We
used our growth mind set to persevere through and our drawings are amazing.
GIRLS TOUCH WIN Last Thursday our Girls Touch team played Tumbarumba PS in the first round of the PSSA State Knockout competition. The Franklin girls worked well together as a team and showed the benefit of the training they have been doing with coach Mr Makeham. The girls won 8-0, with Loren and Logan Klaus bagging the majority of the tries. The girls are now looking forward to taking on their next opponents in the coming week. Well done girls on the skill and sportsmanship you displayed in the game.
