Not much is written on the front cover to display what's inside the magazine which makes people intrigued to read what's inside. This is effective as they buyer will want to see what the information inside the magazine includes as the front cover of the magazine is appealing they will want to read what it has to offer.

Typography-the headline of articles are pink relating back to the theme of the magazine, the white star is effective as the colour contrast makes it stand out. The colour being a brighter pink makes is stand out more, also the ‘miss’ word being red also makes it stand out as the reader is automatically attracted to the headline meaning they will purchase the magazine.

This is effective as it stands out to the rest of the text indicating what the magazine is called and what it is about. One letter ‘n’ is in the colour orange. This is effective as it fits in with the colour palette so the layout is all linked to one theme.

Cinematography- the main image is of a burger, this is relevant as it is a food magazine. It is effective as it is the centre of attention and it is what people will instantly look at. The colours are also effective as it includes; green, purple, white and brown. These colours are a good colour contrast as it is light and dark combined making it effective as it is the first thing the reader will be able to identify clearly.

The masthead is two different colours, the first being white the second word being an off yellow. The headline is not in capital letters which is rare for a magazine not to have, however it is a bold font. The background of it is blue which is effective as it stands out and is a good colour contrast. The reader can automatically spot the magazine by the bold headline.

The layout of the magazine is effective as they have limited what information they have put on it not revealing a lot to the reader. It also shows the inside of a house which indicates what the genre of magazine is about. This is also effective as the reader will be intrigued to read it.

The background is the image of the inside of a house, this shows the reader what the magazine will be based on and what they will be finding inside it. This is effective as it is a good layout so the readers will want to purchase the products they sell as its been advertised on the front.

The inside of the house are bland colours so it doesn’t affect the writing on top. It still stands out to the reader. This is effective as it doesn’t take away the attention from the magazine.

It is effective as it is the centre of attention and it is what people will instantly look at. The colours are mainly red in a desert type background. This stands out as it is red on a dark background These colours are a good colour contrast as it is light and dark combined making it effective as it is the first thing the reader will be able to identify clearly.

The genre of this magazine is fashion including an interview.

I like this magazine as the text is limited which I think is effective as it makes me want to read more inside the magazine. This is effective as more people will want to buy the magazine as there is a popular actress on the front.

The text is also a bolder font on subheadings and more significant information which is effective as it shows the reader what is important.
