“A visual attendance league competition being run across the

Academy to help improve whole Academy attendance”

• Each year group will select a football league and each form will draw a

football team from a hat during assembly, this team will represent the form

for the remainder of the year.

• Each form will have their weekly attendance percentage decimalised to figure

out how many points they have totalled each week. Points will then be

accumulated in a league format.

• Each year group has their own league, with a ‘Champions League’ for the 5

forms with the best attendance in the Academy.

• The forms sitting at the top of the ‘Champions League’ at the end of term will

be rewarded.

• Rewards include: Match Day Tickets, Ground Tours, Player Visits, Signed

Merchandise etc.

• Big display board in Hall for pupils to track progress.

“A lunchtime music workshop open to all students across the Academy. Students with behavioural issues can be signposted to the

workshop. The aim is to decrease incidents occurring during lunchtimes and anti-social behaviour within the Academy.

Throughout the year students will be up skilled in the art of DJ’ingand Rapping, further developing their own personal skill set.

• Engage young people, male and female, in a range of constructive activities.

• Increase the playing, coaching and officiating opportunities for participants.

• Breakdown barriers between the police and young people.

• Reduce crime and anti-social behaviour in the targeted neighbourhoods.

• Encourage volunteering within projects and throughout the targeted neighbourhoods.

• Create routes into education, training and employment

• Increase young people’s interest in and connections with the professional game.
