The Colonial School District encompasses seven school buildings, including four kindergarten through third grade schools, one for students in grades four and five, a middle school for students in grades six through eight and Plymouth Whitemarsh High School for grades nine through twelve. Each building provides clean, sizeable classrooms that are equipped with the latest technology and teaching aids. Each school has its own cafeteria to provide students and staff with hot and cold lunches. Colonial students also may attend the Central Montco Technical High School located in Plymouth Township.

selection processThe Colonial School District Board of School Directors will conduct final candidate interviews in June 2017. The anticipated date of employment is July 1, 2017.

The Colonial School Board of Directors is made up of nine community members elected to serve four-year terms. Public board meetings are held the third Thursdays of each month, except December, with additional meetings scheduled as needed. Board members also hold board development and workshop sessions throughout the year.
School board members work together, through cooperative and effective leadership, to maintain and advance the quality and effectiveness of Colonial School District’s educational program.
School board members are elected by the community and volunteer, serving the district without pay.
