The Five Fold of God
and
Apostolic Culture
1 Corinthians 12:28
Ephesians 2:19-22
Ephesians 4:12-16
1 Corinthians 12:28
“And God has placed in the church first of all
apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then
miracles, then gifts of healing, of helping, of
guidance, and of different kinds of tongues.”
First: Gk. is ‘proton’,
- “first in time, order, or rank.” ie: prototype.
Ephesians 2:19-22
“Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and
strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s
people and also members of his household
built on the foundation of the apostles and
prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief
cornerstone.”
Culture is the manifestation of the nature of the
government in the lifestyle, customs, and
morals of the people. In other words, every
country has unique qualities of character,
customs, traditions, and social norms that
distinguish it from other countries. In practical
terms this means that when you enter the
Kingdom of Heaven through salvation in
Christ, you become a Kingdom citizen and the
culture of the Kingdom should begin to
manifest in your life, your speech, your
choices, and your perspective.
Ideally, the church as an Apostolic culture,
is the most effective delivery system for
the Kingdom.
Some History..
The doctrine of apostolic succession
- Clement of Rome and Irenaeus
- Cessationism

Ephesians 4:11
“So Christ himself gave the apostles, the
prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and
teachers to equip his people for works of
service, so that the body of Christ may be built
up until we all reach unity in the faith and in
the knowledge of the Son of God and become
mature, attaining to the whole measure of the
fullness of Christ.”

voices in the city and region
