FirstView Client Portal
Starting Client Portal
To access the Client Portal, you must first enter in your username and password. Be sure to enter in your username and password exactly as they were
given to you. Once entered, Click Login.
Note: If you do not know your username, please contact your administrator.

Change Password

Change Password
For your first login, you will be asked to change the current password and then confirm the new
password. Select any question you wish from the drop down list. Make sure you type an answer you
will be able to remember. This question will be asked if you ever forget your password information.
Once entered, Click Submit.
Note: For security purposes, the password must contain a minimum of 8 characters, one being a number one being an upper case letter and one being a symbol. Note, when answering your security
question the answer is case sensitive.

Successful Message
The screen will refresh and give you a successful message, like the one
displayed at the bottom of the picture. Once you receive this message,
Click Cancel.
Note: When you click cancel, it will take you back to the initial login screen. Do not be alarmed, this will just allow you to login using your newly created password.

Personal Login
The system will now ask you to login. You will need to use the same username and the newly created
password. Once entered, Click Login.

Incorrect Login
If you enter in any of your information incorrectly, you will receive the error message displayed at the
bottom of the picture. Try typing your username and password again carefully.
Note: After 3 failed attempts your password will be locked. You should contact your administrator at this time (404-555-5555).

Forgot Password
The “Forgot Password” link can be used if you cannot remember your password. Once you click the link, you will need to enter in your User ID. Then, select your secret question from the drop down list and input the answer to your question.
Once entered, Click Submit.
Note: Remember that the answer to your security question is case sensitive.

Forgot Password
If answered correctly, the screen will refresh and present the fields for your new password. Create a new password that will be easy for you to remember
and confirm it by retyping it in the confirm password field. Once entered,
Click Submit.

Forgot Password
Once you have created your new password, the screen will refresh to give
you the successful message at the bottom of the picture. Click Cancel.
Note: Remember that clicking Cancel will take you back to the login screen so that you may login using your new password. See “Personal Login” on page 7 for further details on logging in with your new
password.

Creating A Card

Create Card Tab
Once you are properly logged in, you are taken
directly to the Create Card Tab. This tab will be where
you will update the cardholder’s information
for the card. Click the Instant Issue link.

Cardholder Information
The screen shows all information you will need
to enter to update the card with the cardholder’s
information. Fill out each field carefully. Card
creation and mailing will be determined by what
you key.
Note: Each field that has a red asterisk mark (*) is a mandatory field and must be filled out before moving on to the next page.

Cardholder Information
If the cardholder would like the card to be mailed
to a different address than their primary address,
please click the check box next to “Check if ship to address is different”. You may then key the shipping
information in the provided fields to the right.
Once you have filled out the name and address
information, scroll down to the bottom of the page.
Note: P. O. Boxes are not allowed as the main address but can be used in the shipping address fields provided to the right.

Cardholder Information
Here you find the fields for the cardholders’ ID
verification information. If the individual has a SSN, please enter it in the field provided. You must select an ID type from the drop
down list and all fields must be populated. Once
completed, click on the check box that verifies you
have confirmed the ID is valid.
Note: The ID information entered will be used to help identify the cardholder when calling customer service.

Information Updated
The screen will refresh and bring you to this page. Here you can see that the
account has been updated. You now have the option of either loading this card, or updating a new card. If you would like to create a new card Click on New Card. To
load this card, Click Load Card.

The screen will refresh to show you
the customer you have just updated.
Enter in the amount you wish to load onto
the card in dollars and cents (0.00) in the Load Amount field. Then Click
Load.
Note: Client balance will always show as $0.00 unless we have a reserve account established.
Load Card Successful
The screen will refresh and show you the
successful message at the top of the page. At the
bottom of the page is the transaction you just made
to this account.

Reverse Load on Card
If you mistakenly type in the wrong amount or realize
you did not wish to make this load, you
can reverse it. Select the transaction you
made at the bottom. This will activate the Reverse button. Click
Reverse.
Note: You can only reverse transactions that you have loaded on a card.

Reverse Load Successful
The screen will refresh and show the reversal in the list of transactions in the
bottom of the screen. Notice the
transaction that says “Principal Debit”.
Card Management

Card Management Tab
This tab contains two links: Card Search and View Card.
This tab can be used to answer existing
cardholders’ questions regarding his account.

Card Search
To view a card, you may enter in any of the following
search criteria: Card Number, DDA Number, SSN, First Name, Middle Name, and/or Last Name. Once
entered, Click Search.
Note: Within this search, you may enter as much or as little information you feel necessary. The more specific you are in your search criteria, the quicker you will receive results that only include your search
criteria.

Card Search Results
The screen will refresh to provide you a list of all
matches to the criteria you entered. Click Select next to the desired cardholder and then Click the Select
button at the bottom.
Note: If there is only one cardholder that matches your criteria, the Select radio button next to the cardholder will already be selected.

View CardYou are now taken
directly to the View Card section. This shows you
the cardholders’ information as well as the status of the card and the last date that a card was issued from this account.
At the bottom is the Available Balance, last
load amount, date of last load, and last purchase
amount.

Load Card Tab
This tab contains two links: Load Card Search and Load
Card. Use these links to load funds to any existing
cardholders. To begin, Click Load Card Search.

Load Card Search
Here you will need to search for the customer in
which you wish to load funds. Once you enter
your search criteria, Click Search. Click Select next
to the cardholder you want and then Select at the bottom of the page.
Note: Please insure you validate you have pulled up the right card before making the load.

The screen will refresh to show you
the customer you have just updated.

Administration Tab
This tab contains one link: Change Password. You will be able to come here and change your password in
this FirstView system. Click Change Password.

Change Password
The screen will refresh. The User ID field is populated
with your User ID and cannot be modified. Enter your old password in the
given field. Then enter your new password and confirm it by entering it again in the
specified field. Once entered, Click Submit.
Note: To change your password with this feature, you must know your old password. If you forgot your old password, use the instructions given for Forgot Password, page 9 of this manual.

The screen will refresh to now display a successful
message that the password has been changed.

AdministrativePrivileges
This is for the administrative users only. The admin user
is the only type of user given access to the Create
User and User Management links you see on this page. The links do not exist for
other users.
Note: FirstView will setup the admin users and provide its’ credentials to the users that will take on the responsibilities associated with the administrative user.

Select a User Type from the drop down list. Your Client Name will always be populated for you as a non-changeable field. Enter in the users’ first
and last name and what their User ID will be as well as the IP Address
they will come in from. Once entered, Click
Submit.
Note: For security purposes, the admin user cannot create another admin user. If more admin users are needed, contact Merchant Support at 1-866-520-6478.

Create User Successful
The screen will refresh and show the message
that the user was created successfully.
The Generated Password field is
populated. Copy and paste the generated
password to provide to the user. You can create
another new user by clicking Create User.
Note: The password that you issue to the user from this page is only temporary. Upon login, user will be prompted to change their password.

User Management
From the User Management Link, you are able to search for
and then edit a users’ information. Enter in your search criteria and Click Search. Your screen will
refresh to show all matching results. Click Edit next to the
user you would like to view/edit.
Note: Notice the red asterisk (*) next to the User Type field. This means that it is a mandatory piece of search criteria.

User Management
You are then brought to where you can update the
information for the user. The username cannot be edited. You can however update the First and Last Name, the user type, user status, and the IP
Address. Also, you can change the password here without
having the old password. Once complete, Click Update.
Note: If you decide to not update any information once you have reached this page, you can click the Back button and return to your original search screen.
