Adult learners in Finland want to develop their competences for personal fulfilment.
The purpose of non formal adult education, based on life long learning , is to reinforce the integrity, equality, and active participation in society. Core values guiding adult learning includes sustainable development, cultural, intercultural and multicultural awareness and understanding.
IMPACT: About 1 million Finns participates annually in non formal adult education.
