How Do I Spend My Spare Time?

Essays written by the 6th graders and drawings by the 2nd graders


My School trip is eight hundred metres. I go to school by bike or I walk to school. At Home I Watch TV. I watch Simpsons on TV. Simpsons are yellow people. They can do anything. My hobby is Floorball. I have Floorball practice on Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday. On Tuesday my practice time is one hour. On Saturday my practice time is one hour thirty minutes. On Sunday my practice time is one hour. My place in the team is a Goalkeeper. I like be a Goalkeeper. Some time I go jogging or walking. A track wich I go is 1.5 kilometres long realy the track is on nature. At Home I play PlayStation 3. I play NHL 14. (National Hockey League). I play NHL 14 on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

HOW DO I SPEND MY SPARE TIME?

It takes about 15 minutes to go to school. In winter I walk to school, but usually by bike. When I get home, I take my god out. My dog is called Mila, she is lovely and cute, she lives with us since 2007. She is old and big, but a great dog, I love her. When we come back inside, usually, I make a snack for myself. Sometimes my little sister is there with me. Not always.

Then I go to the living room, and I eat my snack, do my homework and sometimes I watch TV. If I have lot of homework, it takes about one hour to do them. Sometimes I open the computer, but usually I just surf on my phone. I talk with my friends on Whatsapp. Whatsapp is a free application, there you can talk with your friends.

Evening goes by very fast. At half past seven starts a soap opera called Salatut Elämät (on TV). Salatut Elämät is a popular TV-show in Finland. At 20.00 o’clock, the TV show ends and then I do my evenings routines. At 22.00 o’clock I go to sleep.

If I go to my friend we often play floorball or we play different consoles or computer games.

I talk via Skype with my friends.

After school I walk home. Sometimes my dad takes me home. When my dad takes me home I have to go to the super market. After school I usually eat. When I`m by my

dad I go on computer. I usually watch Youtube videos and Read blogs or spend time with my friends. When I`m by my mom my

mom comes to take me with her about ½ hour after school. When I`m by my mom I usually watch TV or use my phone. I`m

usually on Twitter and Instagram or speak with my friend on WhatsApp or Kik and play with my cats. Every Thursday I go to

theather trainings. I go to theather at 5 o`clock and It`s finished at 7 o`clock. Mom weeks, my dad comes to pck me up at 8 o`clock at night. Everyday I watch famous finnish TV show

called “Salatut Elämät”, It starts at 7:30 o`clock. I do my homework at 10:30 o`clock at night. I go to bed at 11pm.

It has won a prize of the best game of the year. Minecraft is a survival game. In Minecraft you have to build and mine. Sometimes I go to Kin-sushi. It’s a sushi buffet restaurant and there is Asian food.

How Do I Spend My Sparetime

My way to school is 300m. When I arrive home I put my clothes to the coat rack. Then I go to the

fridge. I make a metvurst sandvich and I eat fruit. after that I go to my computer and playstation. Often I watch Youtube and play FIFA in the same time. I play FIFA because I love football. I play about 30min-2h in a day. Some days I watch

Netflix. I don’t spend very much time with friends. But some days I go and play football with my

friends. I play football in a club called 4U. I have four trainings in a week. My trainings are in

Porvoo, Tikkurila, Söderkulla and Järvenpää. Some days I walk my dog. My dog is a German

shorthaired pointer. it’s playful and it protects my house. I read a magazine called GOAL. At weekdays I go to sleep at 21.30-22.00.

After school me and Oona walk to Oona’s home. There we eat rye bread and drink juice. About for o’clock we go to my house. There is my family’s dog Rocky. It is Golden retriever. It’s a boy and very very cute. I don’t ever go for a walk with our dog, but sometimes I have to feed it. At home I eat the second warm meal of the day. Then I wear stable clothes and me and Oona go to the stables. The trip takes only 5-10 minutes. In the stables we first take Rusina inside the stable. We give him some hay and fetch his brushes. We brush Rusina and then we put his saddle and bridle or only the bridle if we go without a saddle. Rusina is my and Oona’s half maintained pony. With Rusina we ride, ride with a cart, in winter we go sometimes to ride with a sledge, keep Rusina on the run and go for a walk in the forest. Rusina is a Shetlandpony gelding. It is brown and its mane is light brown. Rusina is lovely but sometimes it gets angry and does bucks. By the way.. When rusina is brushed and he has a saddle and a bridle we go riding. We split the riding lesson, so both ride 30 minutes or sometimes only 20 minutes. I love to ride with Rusina when he obeys me. Sometimes he tries to gallop without my orders. After riding we take the saddle and the bridle off and brush Rusina. When Rusina is ready we go home. Usually Oona’s dad or mom takes me home. At home I do the homework and watch TV. When I’m at home I take my dog out and sometimes eat a snack. My homework I do usually in the afternoon. After school I usually play a game called Minecraft I like it because I can play It with my friends. At weekend I eat a lot of candy and I watch a lot of movies.

HOW DO I SPEND MY SPARE TIME?After school, I walk home. It takes 5 minutes. When I get home I eat a snack which my mother has made. After a snack, I go to my own room to do the homework. After homework I go outside with my friends.

Usually I go outside at 4.pm o’clock. Sometimes my dad takes me to the city center, and there I see my friends. But sometimes I walk. There are girls and boys in my group of friends. We are usually in the shopping center called Prisma. At 19.30-20.30

we walk home.

If we walk fast we are there in 15 minutes. At home I eat an evening snack. I watch TV at the

same time. Then I surf on my phone about 60min. (Facebook, Kik, Whatsapp, Instagram) I talk with my friends on Whatsapp. At 11pm I go to sleep.

After school I walk home. My school way takes 5 minutes. When I’m at home I go to eat a snack. I do it myself and I usually eat fruit, bread or something like that. In the afternoon I take the dog out. My dog is brunet and it’s an Irish settler. Sometimes I’m with my friends. I use my phone all the time. I play games like Hay Day, My Little Pony, Tapped out and there is a lot of more. I also use a lot of applications like Facebook, Kik, Whatsapp, You tube, Instagram, Netflix, Spotify and other ones like that. On Tuesdays I go to dance hip hop. Little bit later I eat dinner. I usually do my homework late in the evening. Sometimes I listen to music at the same time. In the evening I eat an evening snack. Usually I eat bread and milk with strawberry soup. Little bit before I start to sleep I play with my phone.

How do I spend my spare time?

After school I walk home. My school way takes 5 minutes. When I’m at home I take my bag into my room. Then I go to eat a snack. Usually I eat fruit and bread. After eating I go to the living room, I fall to the sofa and take my phone. Homework I do usually in the evening. If I’m bored I am with my friends. If my mom is busy I help her. Usually I do the dishes. I don’t have any hobbies because I have just recently moved to Järvenpää. I lived in Suomussalmi. I talk with my friends in Suomussalmi. I talk them in Whatsapp. It’s a chat. I miss them so much. But of course I have new friends. Sometimes I read. I like reading because I can relax. If I don’t read I play with my phone. I use many applications like Instagram, Whatsapp, candy crush saga, You Tube, Pet rescue saga. At weekends I like to go shopping with my friends. I like to listen music of course. I listen to music when I draw, read or do my homework.

How Do I Spend My Spare Time???

I start my spare time with my phone. I am with my best friend almost all of my time. My favourite TV-series is “Uusi Päivä”. I do my homework after school or before dinner. My hobbies are art school, football and riding. I love horses forever! I have a stable friend. We are good friends. I am a goalkeeper. I love football! This is what I do in my spare time!

After school I walk home. I walk like 20m. I come home and I watch TV, I watch it like two hours. Then I change my clothes for the pole practice. Then my dad takes me there, by car. The trip takes half an hour. When I´m in the pole lesson we do first the stomach muscles and then we start to do some tricks on a pole. The practice lasts one hour. After that my dad comes to take me back home. When I´m at home I eat and I watch TV, and I watch the series “Salatut Elämät”. Salatut Elämät is a drama show from Finland. After that I go to my computer and I watch on youtube a user called pewdiepie. He makes on youtube some fun game videos. I watch pewdiepies new west videos, then I watch on youtube some cutiepiemarzia, she does some videos too (not game videos, she makes some other kind of videos). I but the computer away and then I check my social media (facebook, Instagram, kik, ask.fm and WhatApp). Then I go to my room to watch some TV and I´m at the same on my phone (playing some games and I talk to my friends). Usually I watch MTV! After that I go to do my night things. I wash my face, I brush my teeth and as usually I go to bed at eleven o´clock, I just check my social media (facebook, Instagram and ask.fm), and I maybe talk with my friends. Then I go to sleep at eleven o´clock.

In my home waits my dog Stefi. She is crossbred and she is so dear. My hobbies are riding and

theater. I like horsebooks very much. My favourite TV-series is ”UUSI PÄIVÄ”. “UUSI PÄIVÄ” is a popular Finnish TV-series. I do my homework after school. I

then have riding time. I go to the stables on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday and

sometimes Tuesday. I hire a horse. The name of my hire horse is Mandy. She is black and she is my life. I ride her on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. I like playing. I play Ipad games and phone games. I

How do I Spend My Spare Time

After school I go out to do goals with balls. After that I go to my room to watch videos or I play floorball. At weekends I have all day training in floorball or a floorball game. Usually I stay the night in Joona. We play Playstation and floorball, we shoot in goals and play 1v1. And I play with my dog. In the summer I go to the summer cottage with my cousin. We go fishing and swimming. We go to Flamingo Spa in May. I ride a moped in my Grandmom and eat good food.

How Do I Spend My Spare Time?I come home and all the doors are locked, so I have to use the spare key. I throw my backpack under the coat rack. I come back upstairs and I put my dog outside. I take some food and warm up in a microwave. When I have eaten I go for a walk with my dog. I come home and I open the tv and take my knit. Now it is half past four. HOW DO I SPEND MY SPARETIME

My school way is very short.I walk my school way with my friend. In my school way I have to across the road once.When i come home I leave my bag in the hall.Then I get my Dogs out.Then I go to my kitchen. there I get some snack:Milk,Bread,and something fruit.Then I get some Cheerios if I want. Bread that I eat is Rye Bread and milk that I drink is light milk. After the snack I go to the computer. On computer I play and speak with my friends via skype.

Skype is a free call system in computer. The game that I play is League of Legends. It´s a fantasy strategy fighting game.

I play on computer about 1 to 3 hours. After that I play with my friends. I play floorball and and games via Playstation 3 with my friends. Then I go home and I eat and do my homework and after that I play with my Dogs. We have two Dogs. Then I have my floorball trainings. It´s a nice sport.After that I watch TV.

I like to watch Simpsons. Then I go to shower and after that I go to eat. Then I read the cartoon called Aku-Ankka, Donald Duck. Then I clean my teeth and then I go to sleep.

How do the second graders spend their spare time?The second graders do their homework after school. After that many of them spend a lot of time with friends, they play with toys and hide and seek and they play outside. Many like to read books and draw. Many also often play computer games and Playstation games. Some look after and play with their pets, and some like to cook and do the cleaning at home.
