Finding a storyThe Subconscious The protagonist Teenage maleTraits: Angry, aggressive, moody, stubborn, lonely, quiet, frustrated, shy, awkward. Habits: Fidgety, obsessive, unusual demeanour. Appearance: Dark hair, dark facial features, dark and slouchy clothes, tall.

Film inspirationA ballet dancer is emotionally and sexually damaged. She also has the ability to self-destruct. She is an awkward, independent person and displays an unlikely and strange brother-sister relationship. Our protagonist could therefore have had a traumatic past which makes him want closure. He could also be an awkward, lonely person which prevents him from seeking help for the closure that he needs.

Newspaper storylines inspiration

Own experience Some family members are adopted, real parents unknown. A family member had to put her child for adoption as she was unable to bring the child up. The mother was put into a Magdalene laundry/asylum and the child was adopted but sadly died as a child in a river.
